I would understand - not necessarily agree with but understand - if you wanted to raise tax rates on the "rich" - like, actual rich people, as in, incomes above a million dollars a year - - - and further reduce tax rates on the rest of us.

But that's not what your side puts in place or fights for.

When Clinton raised the top marginal rate it affected households with $80K of income. You opposed Bush's tax cut entirely, rather than say "let's keep the higher rates for people making over "1 million dollars a year."

In the name of not wanting "the benefit to go to the super-rich" you oppose the whole tax cut - you throw the baby out with the bath water.

How about a deal - make the tax cuts permanent for incomes and capital gains under $1MM per year and let the tax rates go back up for incomes and capital gainst above $1MM - - -with the first $1MM still covered by the tax cuts.

That way white collar couples and onstruction workers in a good year still get the tax cut. OK?

Is it possible that this is the last book in the series? I certainly hope not! It has been a long series, but this book leaves too many questions unanswered. Why did Polly leave? Is Qwilleran already developing another love interest? Was the young lady who died by the bee sting really murdered because her emergency kit was taken? Koko seems to think she was murdered? Will Qwilleran rebuild the barn? The stone foundation and walls should still be good, and he certainly can afford it. All in all, I was very disappointed in this book!

There was a Lynx crash last night at 6pm in Northern Ireland. Four police and two army soldiers. Three police were let out of hospital today and the other police officer has bad back injures. The two army people are still in hospital but they have not said what injures they have. Why is this not on the new again today only last night for about 2 mins.
My mate was in that crash, he is ok but still in hospital with head injures. Why is this not import but NCampbell is hitting the news as she throw a mobile phone at her maid that is not nothing compared to what my friend is going through. What is the news coming too now a days?

I am trying to buy a refurbished Dell just as a second computer and I'm trying to figure out if it has enough space. The listing says 10 GB and 256 MB. What does that mean? It doesn't have a CD or DVD burner so I won't be taking up space with movies, picutres, or music. It's pretty much just for surfing the net, a few computer games, and doing research. Can somebody help me out...please?

Ok, so my boyfriend and I split up last summer, and just recently weve been talking about getting back together. The thing is, I know he slept with two other woman in the time we wernt together, but that isnt the issue, as I slept with someone else too. The issue is that I know he works with one of the woman, and I know she still texts him really sexual stuff and sexual pictures, and Im not sure I will be able to handle it if we get together again! He doesnt know Ive seen all the texts, he only showed me one, and when he had a shower I looked at the rest, bad I know, but Im not sure what he said back to her! Ive told him if were to give it another shot that I dont want him texting her and if she continues, he would have to get another phone, but Im just so paranoid about the fact they work together and Im not sure Id be able to trust him and accept that shes flirting with him and he isnt back! He says she meant nothing and it was a "one off" but still...am I just just being stupid?

It's such a bizarre way to not answer a question in many section but recently I've noticed 'you're a liberal, therefore you're a sinner' argument being used. It makes no sense to me. I've got curly/wavy hair. It get's a bit frizzy sometimes, but when blow dried it doesn't frizz or anything. I was wondering, if I apply the hair straightening thing to my hair, then will it remain straight when i wash it? or less frizzy? [im talking about the normal straightening not the japanese one.

Ok this is quite odd for me. I have noticed files just randomly disappearing from the music folder. But if I type the location of the file into windows media player or even an internet explorer address bar, the music plays. Apparently the file is there, I just can't see its icon in the folder? This only happens with three songs out of hundreds. Most songs are still present in the folder. Even after doing a Search for all files on the computer, the files do not show up. But if you happen to remember the file location and type it into a media player, it pops right up and begins playing.

My ex owes a credit card company. She won't pay, Now they are calling me at work and hassling me. I have told them I will not pay. The lady at the collection agency is getting a kick out of hassling me at work and causing me problems with my job. My supervisor has told me to "solve the problem -- I don't want that woman calling anymore!" which is exactly what the collection agency wants -- they want to cause me problems at work so I will just pay up!

Help -- how can I make them stop calling me at work???? Need help fast, my job is on the line.

I was ignorant going into this and I think I might be screwed.
Has anyone any experience with this loan? It is an ARM and will go up soon.
Has anyone had trouble re-financing because housing values have dropped?
How much does it cost to refinance?

The thing is, I probably qualified for a better loan, but I didn't understand the credit score and I am trying to learn about it now.

My 12 year old granddaughter's half sister who is a little over a year younger was whining yesterday that their adopted 6 year old sister broke her favorite pencil. My daughter was there to pick my grandaughter up so she started questioning her. Seems the brat left her pencil on the floor in the basement and the adopted sister accidentally left the basement door open and the dog went downstairs and chewed the pencil up. So whose fault is it?
