I'm not sure the previous answer answered what the asker was asking.

I think the reason is as follows:
When you're looking at things very far away (telescope) or very close (microscope) the relative distance isn't very important. A long lens like the kind used in telescopes effectively "flatten" everything you see into one plane. You wouldn't get much benefit from making a telescope binocular.

However, binoculars are made for looking at things not too far and not too near. In these cases, being able to tell relatively how far away the things you're looking at is more important and can only be acheived with two viewing lenses. The brain understands the slightly different angle of view from each each and interprets it as depth perception. This is how you can tell if a small object closer to you is smaller than a larger object farther away and is why binoculars have two lenses.

There are, I believe binocular microscopes but I think (I'm not sure) that they simply split one image into two to make it easier to look at...that way you're not squinting with one eye shut all day.

Binocular is an small telescope only which can be used for amateur es , tourists, police. It necessarily will have quite good portability and does hv less magnification ( X 10 )and a wide angle of vision ( usually 2 degree to 7 degree angular).
Portable Telescopes are useless and not even fit for amateur star gazers. There are bigger ones and complex ones too ( Mount Arizona have one , Hubble was one) . There are Radio telescopes infrared telescopes and so on so forth. Their magnification is large more than x 100 and much more and focus may be fraction of a minute or second ( 1 minute = 1/ 60 degree , 1 second =1/60 minute) so that if you wanna see a rock on moon u see the rock and not the full disc of moon

There are two reasons. The most important is that binoculars provide stereoscopic vision (two perspectives). That provides depth perception for nearby object. This makes things look three dimensional, giving you a better perception of shape and relative distance. It has to do with how your brain works and why we have two eyes instead of one. Another reason is that it's simply more comfortable and pleasing to view things with both eyes like one is used to; there's less eye strain. Binoculars are pleasant to use for viewing stars and such for this reason. One can buy super-sized binoculars the size of two amateur telescopes for this, but they are quite expensive.

Friend,

Binoculars are used to see some that is not very far , just like in Cricket matches, horse races, in forests , tall buildings etc etc.We look human beings, animals or buildings or trees through Binoculars. If it has a single lens the image you see will be Topsy turvy(upside down) and very inconvenient to view.(You can just imagine that once ). So there two lenses ,the second one again reverses the image and makes look normal.

coming Telescope it is used to observe the celestial bodies that is stars, moon, (Planets) etc bodies in Cosmos...in Space. They are all circular and it does not make you inconvenient to see them .So they have a powerful single lens.To have additional lense to correct the image is not worth the expenditure, and the size of telescope also up .

I hope this has cleared your doubt to some extent

Most telescopes other than small terrestrial are used for astronomic purposes, and therefore do not rectify an image. You see the cosmos upside down. You need to get a rectifier and that costs light image, which is very much needed in Astronomy.

Binocular is for viewing things. We need two eyes to see.The other things are for study purpose. You need more concentration.
