Does anyone know what day of the week (or how many times out of thew week) the IRS issues Refund checks?

Once a week, on Fridays.

The IRS only issues checks when its a cloudy day.

The rest of the time they're goofing off!

They process electronic transfers every business day and I would assume the same for issuing checks. Otherwise they'd get too backed up with refund checking needing to be sent out.
