In a tiny village on the Irish coast lived an old lady, a virgin and very proud of it.

Sensing that her final days were rapidly approaching, and desiring to make sure everything was in proper order when she dies, she went to the town's undertaker (who also happened to be the local postal clerk) to make the proper "final" arrangements.

As a last wish, she informed the undertaker that she wanted the following inscription engraved on her tombstone:

"BORN A VIRGIN, LIVED AS A VIRGIN, DIED A VIRGIN"

Not long after, the old maid died peacefully.

A few days after the funeral, as the undertaker/postal clerk went to prepare the tombstone that the lady had requested, it became quite apparent that the tombstone that she had selected was much too small for the wording that she had chosen.

He thought long and hard about how he could fulfill the old maid's final request, considering the very limited space available on the small piece of stone.

For days, he agonized over the dilemma.

But finally his experience as a postal worker allowed him to come up with what he thought was the appropriate solution to the problem.

The virgin's tombstone was finally completed and duly engraved, and it read as follows:

"RETURNED UNOPENED"

I've posted multiple questions on here all asking the same thing basically but I'm 47 days into my cycle and still no period. I took a hpt last week and it came out negative. I used to be on bc pill and stopped mid cycle/pack in January and got my period Jan. 30. It lasted about 5 days. A week after the period I had all these symptoms of pregnancy but then they went away because I figured it was the horomones getting out of my system. Now I'm late and feel very nauseous and tired all the time. My boobs hurt but the pain comes in waves...it's not a constant. What do you think? I'm scared to take another test because I don't want it to come back out negative. Do you think I'm pregnant or my body's just adjusting to coming off the pill?

would you tell him? i want the baby to have a daddy, but he is a druggy, and even when he doesnt drink his temper isd out rageous. he is 18 years old and i dont want to interfere with his life even though i love him a lot and we used to go out for like ever. but i am really young and i dont know what to do i am not positive that i am pregnat, but if i am im screwed b/c my parents would kick me out. i have so much goin on right now and have no one to talk to and i hate admitting it but i am actually scared. please tell me what i should do.

i been repoted that i was ketso prenic not even true. i receive a letter according to my child not founded abusing neglecting etc but the case still open now they want follow up visit monthly then they come up pychological evaluation then drug test this is very annoying i was reported the person that i know.dyps even look my medical record to my doctor. can dyps do want do they want to do.it been a stress weeks what i can do so they can be done with it. i have no idea what else they want .what is my right?

Here's a breakdown. I love my husband and I know he loves me and our children, but he struggles with addiction. Addiction to computer games, alchohol, cigarettes, whatever. He spends any extra money we have. I believe he has a good heart and he knows he is doing wrong to us, but can't stop himself. When I try to talk with him he makes excuses & always seems to find a way to blame me. Yes, I picked him and he did these things when we got together, but we had similar dreams for our future and I've changed to accomodate. I used to drink and smoke too, but that's not appropriate now that we have little kids. He agree's with that when he's in a good mood, but then quickly falls back into his comfort zone. Having grown up with an alchoholic father, I don't want my kids to go through that. Have you any experience with a situation like this? I don't want to leave, but I look at myself and feel like an idiot for staying. Actions speak louder than words, how do I deal with this?

I have 2 great daughters who will be nearly 7 and nearly 4 by the time the baby is born. I have always found it easy having the girls. I have never had any family around as my husband is in the raf.I just wanted to know if anyone found it really hard having a 3rd, or really positive.

I have great support from my husband and the baby was planned, i just worry now i might be in for a schock!!!!

My 2 girls are well behaved easy kids if that helps.

Any advice or exp welcomed.

I seriously don't have to or even need to.. IM NOT DEPRESSED.. LOL. Im an emo because i have been told to be one so i just act my label. Most of the people around here who told me to shrink or take antidepressants actually need to do or take that themselves.

My daughter just sprouted a tooth at 8 months. It's a cute little snaggletooth too. I've been told that now I must practice oral care. I'm having two problems: she doesn't want anything in her mouth (I try taking a damp washcloth and since she's teething she sometimes lets me put it in) and she has a before bed nursing session that gets her nice and dreamy. Advice welcomed. Thank you!
