I don't think it's too old. I'll probably still be a virgin when I'm 20. Now, how to tell your boyfriend...are you proud of being a virgin? I mean, did you do it for religious reasons, for example, or because you never had a guy to do it with you? I don't think you should tell your boyfriend until you guys are serious.

How long each individual person remains a virgin is totally up to them. I remained a virgin until I married at the age of 23, that was the correct choice for me.
You have to just tell your current boyfriend that you are a virgin. He will either understand, and value that for both of you; or he will not.
In todays world, with STDs and Hiv/Aids I think that you are very smart to remain a virgin until you are in a commited relationship. Considering how many young people, even in the preteen years are experimenting with sex (I could just cry thinking about it); it is much safer and smarter to remain virginous as long as you feel that it is right.
Best of luck to you, you are a great role model for younger people.
Have a good day.

Being a 20 year virgin is nothing be ashamed of. Good for you!!
My suggestion is, don't say anything until sex becomes the next step in your relationship. Don't say anything until right before you do it. If you tell the guy before hand the fact that you're a virgin will be all he can think about and he'll try to get into pants everyday.

I don't think anyone looks down on girls that are virgins. It's kinda rare anymore, but it's not something that you should take in a negative way. It's actually a good thing (no matter what other people tell you). And I know some people that are older and still a virgin....

Girl you should be proud to be a virgin at 20.. I think that's great.. He'll come along and it will be great. I was never a slut but I had two kids by the time I was 20 so keep doing what your doing.
He'll appreciate your more.. Then you can experience more then you'll never want to stop with the one you love..

no congratulation! that is great thing, whatever your morals
are stick to them, and let you first time be a rush,or heat of
the moment, because it is a one time experience, that can
damage your soul, and that is the one thing you need to
sustain in your life or you will not function in your life.Ask
yourself do you love him? take time to really think it
through on both side, from emotion which will come into
play if you start, and pregnancy,STD,s etc,now if you
just started dating him then No because then he will do
everything in his power to get it,let love happen and take it
slow,so as you are dating like 3-6 months down the line
you will know if you should leave and never give it or do it.
my advice to you is wait on your husband their is a reason
why you are still a virgin that is a sign from god that your husband is soon on the way.

To be a virgin is a choice you have made. No, it isn't too old. What matters is your commitment to keep your virtue. I assume you are planning to keep it until you marry. Good for you.
Tell him the truth. If he is worth keeping, he will stick around. As the boys turn to men, they learn to admire this commitment in a women.

Why would that be too old. obviously you are waiting for a special person. I would say, be proud of your virginity. and keep waiting until you are sure. I'm sometimes asked if I'm a virgin, and usually I'm just being honest then, and i'll say, 'yes, and I'm proud of it'. when you say that, people will know where you stand, and that way there won't be an enbaresing situation.

I would bring up the topic of sex before your put into a situation you can't get out of. And if your not ready then its not too young -- but from experience and knowing other girls situation you never lose it to the right guy in the end so don't wait out for perfection -- but if your comfortable with the guy and he's excepting and not forceful, and your with him for awhile then go for it. Its never too late just do what makes you feel right.
