If what my school textbook tells me is true- then this system is really unfair! Democracy puts power in the hands of the few? I thought all men were created equal!...I guess I'll have to rethink that...What is the reasoning behind this system? Can anyone possibly expain it so I understand?

that got on your nerves . Then when you were finally relaxed and sleeping. Your partner who is on the pc in the bedroom is constantly disturbing your sleep...typing. This is the ever present morality question that if you don't believe in hell what keeps you from doing immoral deeds and hurting people, because there is no karmic influence.

Well my retort as an agnostic/atheist is that I have empathy.
And byt the way, if the only thing keeping you from hurting other people was the idea of hell, then doesn't that make you the immoral and "evil" person, and not I?

Everything was okay when we broke up. Neither one of us was mad at each other. Later on I call my ex up to talk and asked him could I see him to talk. I wanted to give his ring back. He had the worst attitude towards me. So I figured I was annoying him and I left him alone. Later on I sent him a message saying im glad that we're friends and you can always talk to me when you want! He responds, "Oh well, its all good, we was ment to be and we never going to be." All i wanted was us to be cool as friends, nothing more. I've already moved on because I am talking to another guy! So i sent his ring back in the mail, because i didnt want it. Recently I asked him, why do u have an attitude? and he tells me im retarded and i need to move on. He has no idea that i already have moved on. I just didnt want tension between us. He even said himself he wanted to be friends, but his actions were different. He says he moved on but if he did, why is it hard to talk to me? Whats hard about saying hello?

About my amputees thing. I wasn't trying to discredit your God, I was simply asking why people believe in miracles. I feel you think I was attacking your God and the good he does in lives, and that wasn't the case, so I apoligize if I seemed that way. It is wonderful when someone can connect to the divine and become a better person and lead a better life. In a way that is it's own miracles, but the miracles I was talking about were physical ones, like so many people believe in.

You know, how people say God miraculously cured their son of cancer or whatever. I definitly believe you can draw strength from God to beat it, but it's not exactly a miracle like regrowing a limb, do you see what I mean?
