this guy who used to go out w. my best friend in high school wants to go out w. me now. thing is: i dont like him like dat, he's creepy; i think i may have led him on tho, cuz i flirt a lot with my guy friends & i think he took it the wrong way. but i always flirt w. my guy friends (they know i'm not serious tho, i just kid around a lot) now how do i steer this creepy guy off w/o hurtin his feelins ?? rite now i'm tryin to avoid him but i cant keep this up forever

biggest rule of all.. dont date your friends exes. keep it real and tell him that you appreciate his friendship and would prefer to keep things platonic. guys tend to read girls friendliness for "she wants me".

Well, it's pretty hard to be direct and tell him to get the hell away, but that will work the best. If you can't do that, be an asshole to him until he finally catches a clue.

be direct and straight forward. tell him that you like him as a friend (if you do) but you are not interested in him that way. you may have to hurt his feelings, but if he is THAT creepy, is that such a bad thing?
