I have an advisory teacher who is horribly mean to me for no reason. Keep in mind that for her class I do not receive a grade, but she can give me detentions and whatnot.
For instance, she seems to make up rules that only I am breaking that no one knows about, and then yell at me for them. She's a horrible person in general.
I want to play a prank on her.
I do not want to make her cry, or make her lose her job. But I do want to do something to the equivalent of slapping her in the face.
Preferably something over e-mail?

I have a large two car unattatched garage on an alley that has lost all power, no lights, outlets, or garage door opener working. Yes I checked the breakers and their all fine I even went through and reset them all anyway. Still no power in the garage the rest of the house is fine. What else should I be looking for or checking?

For Java, I am having a problem.

I have given code (we'll call it Given.class), and I have to write another class that utilizes private variables within Given.class.


Given.class has 3 private variables..

My code defines a new class type which is made up of an array of type Given.

I edited the given code, changing the private variables to public variables and my code works fine... but I am not allowed to do this for the assignment. Can anyone give me some help? I'm not really understanding what I need to do.

my little sister is annoying me to death! shes poking me and hitting random keys on my comp and keeps turning it off! my stuped older brother taught her how to stay up late (somehow)
and now she has had sum candy and is on a sugar rush and annoying me (she also slept today from 3:00-10:30) so shes gunna be up late... and my mom was working all day and she needs a rest so i wont wake her up i just need help with this little monster! For example, is it just as good to do five sets of five pushups instead of one set of twenty-five? In this example, I would not become fatigued after the first set of five or even after the fifth set of five, but I would still achieve the same number of total reps. Or I could even do 100 reps over the course of several sets and still not reach failure. It would take more time to achieve the 100 reps, but there would still be more total volume achieved. The question is, is the total volume of training more important than going to the point of failure on each set? And is it ever necessary to go to temporary failure on any set of any exercise? Once you have reached failure, how long should you wait until doing another set? Is it best to stop after reaching failure? When you reach failure, is that bad for your muscles or nervous system?

I'm planning on moving to the San Francisco / Bay area (Somewhere between SF to San Jose or Fremont, or those cities ;) )
I have looked at apartments.com, but all the apartments that look really great here have awfully bad reviews at apartmentratings.com. I'm looking for a safe, rather luxurious 1000+ sq feet, 2+ bedroom apartment that I can really enjoy.
But where can I find them? (I live outside the US right now so I can't look myself :( )

What is a good age to introduce my new kitten(5 weeks) to an adult German shpherd dog?
I have had the dog since he was a puppy and he lived with a cat I had previously for 4 years until she passed away, it has now been about a year and a half and I would like my new kitty 2 to be palls with him just like the old one was. But previously he was the puppy meeting an adult cat...now what?

I saw a movie almost 8 years ago about this family where the mother leaves the older brother incharge of the younger son. The older brother gets mad and tells the younger brother to "Get lost" and the younger brother walks away and gets kidnapped. I think the mother was a photographer and at the end of the movie, some new kid moves into the neighborhood who comes to lawnmow at their house and he looks incredibly like their long lost son. She takes pictures of him from her window. This is about all I remember, I realize it's not a lot lol but if you have any idea, please let me know I'm dying to see it.

He acts confident around everyone. Does not seem shy at all, but with me hes always afraid of talking. He needed help with something, I guess he kind of looked nervous. But I thought he was ok sense he asked someone. But he was not, when the teacher came he said he did not understand. So I guess he wanted to ask me but was so afraid. I kind of felt that he needed help, but I was not sure so I just kept doing my work.

The thing is these has already happened four times. Where he wants to ask me, but chickens out. When I start talking to him, then thats when he starts to act more confident but still acts nervous. I mean if he talks to other girls normal than it should not be that hard to make the move. Or is he not that interested then?

Do so many of us really think that because we have greater technology and more facts it makes us more intelligent than previous humans?

To be educated does not mean you have become intelligent. It's how you use intelligence--to better mankind or to make yourself look smart. Some of the smartest people on earth never attended any type of school.

around both of my eyes, he takes me to get an x-ray of my head to see if there are any objects/metal in my head. well he did not find any. But he terminated the exam because he was afraid of proceeding further due to the fact that around my eye area, there were dark spots. I have no metal nor foreign objects in me, what could it be? if it is anything?
