He acts confident around everyone. Does not seem shy at all, but with me hes always afraid of talking. He needed help with something, I guess he kind of looked nervous. But I thought he was ok sense he asked someone. But he was not, when the teacher came he said he did not understand. So I guess he wanted to ask me but was so afraid. I kind of felt that he needed help, but I was not sure so I just kept doing my work.

The thing is these has already happened four times. Where he wants to ask me, but chickens out. When I start talking to him, then thats when he starts to act more confident but still acts nervous. I mean if he talks to other girls normal than it should not be that hard to make the move. Or is he not that interested then?

guys act so confident, so they could make the girls think that they are over them and have the upper hand. If he is acting so shy around you dont make it harder on him. Talk to him once in a while, and about schoolwork is a good way to start. HE is tough on the outside, but a softie on the inside.

Wow you are just like me! that's amazing when you can find someone exactly like you and recognize it isn't it?!
Well you can see the signs but aren't to sure right? Same here but I would guess that he likes you sooo much that he is afraid that like if he talks he will sound uncool or that maybe you don't like him, you have a boyfriend etc. you know what I mean? Everything is running through his head that is making him stop and think and really it seems like to chicken out. And I have found out that waiting for a guy like that to make his move is not going to get either of you anywhere so if you DO like him when he is trying to get that attention you talked about turn around and help him. And if you really know the subject he is have "trouble" with make sure he understands it well. If he continues to have "trouble" or you didn't have time to finish helping him suggest a sort of tutoring hour with you and him somewhere like the public library or one of your houses. If he agrees to this and all then maybe this fidgety chicken stuff will fade out and you guys will be going out in no time!

Well I would kind of need to see this in action, but either he likes you or he just has a personality or vibe that clashes with yours. It's hard to say for sure which without more details.

Try smiling more and just being more laid back. If he acts more relaxed, then it means that he was just feeling uncomfortable around you. If he continues to be a bit nervous, then it means that he did and still likes you.

Hope this helped of some sort. I know, my logic is crappy. :)

move in! try it; wont hurt to try...maybe you just need to break the ice, and he might open up with you. If he doesn't and continues to be shy try a little bit more, still failed; then he'll say something or completely push you away

He likes you but is afraid you'll reject him. Flirt more to reassure him.
