around both of my eyes, he takes me to get an x-ray of my head to see if there are any objects/metal in my head. well he did not find any. But he terminated the exam because he was afraid of proceeding further due to the fact that around my eye area, there were dark spots. I have no metal nor foreign objects in me, what could it be? if it is anything?

Sinus cavities maybe? Are you sick at all or have a sinus infection?

The technologist was being cautious as he/she should. Did you experience any pain or discomfort during the MRI scan. Any metallic foreign bodies could be a real problem during an MRI scan. ( The metal object could move due to the magnetic field or could heat up due to the RF field ). I am wondering if the darkening of your eyes was due to an increase in blood pressure (or the like) due to anxiety that most people experience when being placed into an MRI bore. MRI's are noisy and quite claustrophobic. How long did it take for the darkening to go away ?

some dyes and inks can contain traces of metal used for color and to prevent fading. Eye liners are not excluded from this. Im not sure if this is the case, but its a possibilty. Eye drops may contain minerals dense enough to show up dark on an MRI also.
