I've been Y!answer browsing and noticed a few comments from people in england, so I have a few questions.

One person said they were english first then British - What is the difference? And how do you choose which to be?

Another question, someone made it sound like all english/british disliked the monarchy. Is this true? why or why not?

and ... what is it like to live in England? I was in London for two weeks and decided I want to live there, but NO way could I afford that again * I stayed at knightsbridge Park Mansions*

I want to know about England, everything basically. So anything you want to say about it be my guest.

I live in downtown pittsburgh with my girlfriend in a two bedroom low-incomed apartment. I do tech support for dish network. I lost my license due to speeding tickets and owe lots of money to get it back. I've been very musically inclined and passionate about music since 4th grade and would love nothing more than to compose professionally. But I'm not sure how to go about it or if I'd be able to go back to school for it (I already owe 11,000 to a graphic design school that I never finished.) My girlfriend loves to draw and write and of course is very good at it, she works at a restaraunt. I'm 24 she's 19 and neither of us finished highschool but are still very able minded. We want to eventually move to NYC and pursue stable careers in these fields. Where do we go from here. ( if you need more info can update just tell me)

im getting a car that is around 20k and(deosn't matter new or used)
the car be able to take at least 4people (includ me).

I am only 18 and have stretch marks! I am really self consious of them and I don't know how to get rid of them. People say they aren't really noticable, because they are silvery color, but I want to get them to go away! Please help!!

I dated a girl for a year who I honestly thought was my "one". We were very close friends for a long while before we started dating, and were both very comfortable with each other during the relationship. After a year, she decided she felt I wasn't the "one" for her. Totally wrecked me.

About four months after this, as I'm still bumming, but coming out the other side of those feelings, my best friend asks me if I mind if he and the ex (Who I maintained a friendship with) go out. I love him, and I love the girl, but what an absolutely hellish situation to be put in!

I personally feel that he should have known better than to even ask, he should have presumed from the start that she was off limits. Barring that, she should have known better (remember, we stayed good friends) than to let this become a possibility. I gave him my blessing, but I've never totally gotten over his audacity in that moment. I feel I should have told him to jump off a cliff.

What would you have done?

Okay my "best friend"(not anymore) has been acting different lately. Weve been friends for 7 yrs and now hes starting to talk behind my back and turing people against me. Like lemmings sorta he makes them follow him of the cliff and into the rocks witch = betray me understand the metaphore(i think its called a metaphore) how can i stop this he turned a few of my good friends and now they start acting like him to me and stuff

my best friend had a huge crush on me and he admitted it to me and cause the feeling was mutual i said yes to going out with him in secret cause he dint want to tell his friends and i wasnt quite sure what he was upto cause there is this other girl at work that absolutely adores him and waits on him hand n foot and but it dint bug me cause i knew he liked me and i wasnt ready to make a huge announcement at work as yet . but what annoys me is my best friend dumped me on years eve wont give me a reason why and i tried to talk to him but he refuses to come to the table and talk and cause i am his boss at work i have to be very professional but hes been really trying to push my buttons by hanging out with this girl that i mentioned earlier who he said he hated in the first place , he also specifically approaches my friends to tell them hes dating a really cute 18 year old arrrrrh what should i do apart from ignoring the antics.
