I am composing a paragraph which sounds a bit awkward

This course teaches ............................ Work related knowledge and skills would also be covered.

The last sentence sounds awkward because the words in the dots already include what to learn for the job. If I write other work related knowledge, its sounds awkward too with 'other'.
I think the topics covered would involve work safety, employment rules etc.
Any suggestion ?

He always wants me to give him a ride and go to the store for him. He already has a car and money. He's 30 and I am 21. I told him I was getting married and he acted like he got upset and said I was ruining my life. He seems like he would be an eligible candidate to go out with. We have never been anything more than just friends. At the same time talks about other girls around me. Just weird.......... He's sending me mixed signals and I need this to stop ASAP. my boyfriend choose to cancel the marriage because of he is financially unstable. He said that our church wedding will no longer be possible to happen because he has no money to spend. But i still want to marry him even in civil marriage or in a very very simple manner. but i dont beleive that in order for me to get married my groom has to be financially stable because love is more important. But does money really the most important in getting married? Please help.

really it's my mom's birthday this Thursday and until now i don't have any idea what to give. i want to make that day special. she is so fragile but when my dad died and i got sick (dengue) she was the only person who stayed strong. she never cried (in front of me) but i could hear her at night crying her heart out when she thinks am asleep. she doesn't want me to know she's hurt or worried. and now i want to repay her for everything. am not a showy person but i know i have to make her day special. guys please help please....thanks love yah!!!

I met this guy online over a year ago. At the time, both of us were in serious relationships and it was always kept at a friends level. However, recently both of us have become 'single' (I put that in quotes becasue he was dating someone, although he just told me that she and him were too different and he couldn't see himself with her). Since we have both ended our serious relationships were have been e-mailing back and forth every day. With very long e-mails. We have a lot in common and I know it is hard to tell online, but he always puts smiley faces and winks after his sentences and things like that. He always tells me how much I brighten his day. He is even making a cd to mail to me (I have a po box). Is he interested in me or just being a good friend? If needed, I can supply more details. Just ask.
