I met this guy online over a year ago. At the time, both of us were in serious relationships and it was always kept at a friends level. However, recently both of us have become 'single' (I put that in quotes becasue he was dating someone, although he just told me that she and him were too different and he couldn't see himself with her). Since we have both ended our serious relationships were have been e-mailing back and forth every day. With very long e-mails. We have a lot in common and I know it is hard to tell online, but he always puts smiley faces and winks after his sentences and things like that. He always tells me how much I brighten his day. He is even making a cd to mail to me (I have a po box). Is he interested in me or just being a good friend? If needed, I can supply more details. Just ask.

How do you know he's not doing the samething with another girl that lives in a different area.

First of all it sucks that you're getting rid of your serious relationships just for lust and infactuations. Second, if you were serious about your previous relationship, you wouldn't have been online talking to a guy.

Honestly, be careful. Words such as these I'm writing can impress a girl's heart, but deep down you cannot see the feelings inbetween the letters of my words. Most online chatters are not real. Trust me, experience. He is interested in you, but the internet life is different from real life. It would be ackward if you and the dude meet up. It's no longer typing to a screen. It's now talking to a person eye to eye.

Be careful, and think about it.

I'd ask... Seems like he's interested if he's taking the time to make a cd for you. I have an Aussie online friend that I've been chatting with for 7 years this June. We both started chatting while we were in high school (I'm in the USA) and would update each other on people we liked and relationships, etc. He's currently engaged and I jokingly call the chick "my homewrecker"! Lol. I'd ask as my friend from Oz said that he'd had crushes on me off and on and I had crushes on him that he didn't know about, too!

okay well first of all do u know him in real life?? if so then talk to him and find out if hes interested and if he is then take it slow see if you really like him, If you dont know him in real life then dont bother cuz online conversations dont mean anything people can say whatever and not mean so dont take to much into that.

finally being a guy and all i know that guys like to just lead girls on especially over the internet, most likely its not how they feel in real life
