Now that Toyota is racing, its no longer just a national association

It is still just a national association. International to me means that its fielding teams from around the world and holding races worldwide. As long as it is predominantly a North American racing organization they should keep it as Nascar.

No that wouldn't be a good idea. I am a Chevy fan, but if anyone wants a challenge, go look on the door tag of your vehicle and see where your Chevy, Ford, or Dodge was made. The ones that I have looked at, (at least 75 percent of them) is made either in Mexico or Canada. There are Toyota manufacturing companies here in the United States. Look at the Chryslers. They are now DaimlerChrysler which is not American owned anymore.

Don't forget that NASCAR is partnered with ISC,(International Speedway Corperation).
To actually change the name would not be in the best intrest of the sport.

No. That would be insane. Think of the changes NASCAR would have to make to be IASCAR. It wouldn't be a good move for them. Fans would riot the streets, pushing cars over on there roofs and catching them on fire! Screaming "Jr! Jr! Jr!".... It would be complete madness.
