i want to meet a girl but not at a bar i need someone who is not all about partying. when i meet some stranger what can i say to not weird her out and keep her interest.

When you want to meet a girl that would have similar interests to you, think about what your interests are. Do you like reading? Well then, try going to the library. Walk around for a while. Stroll around your favorite section and see if you can strike up a conversation about a book you've read that someone's looking at. Or go to a bookstore. If you see someone with a book you would consider reading, ask if they could recommend it. Do you like movies? Go to a movie store and do something similar. Like video games? Same thing. Do you like sports? If you see a girl with something that has a team logo that you like on it, strike up a conversation about it. If you're interested in anything that you could take a class in, go for it and try meeting women there. You learn and meet new people at the same time. Similar interests are always a great way to meet someone. I hope this was helpful!

you should say Hi How's your day going and talk about the weather or local news or whatever. Don't try too hard, the #1 tip is be confident that you are worthy of making a new friend! I move around alot and do meet people/make friends everywhere I go and there IS a trick to it:
Act like you're already friends! Suppose you've already met briefly once at a party. That way you are more relaxed as you use conversation and ask questions to find out what you have in common. People love being paid attention to so don't sweat making contact initially. HI works really good.
Go to meetup.com and look for meetups in your area, or go to a dog park and play with a chicks dog and tell her you are thinking of getting one and wanted to see which kinds play best. Go to the library and ask questions of a chick if she's in one spot for a loong time. Take a dance class at the junior college, there are never enough guys in those classes. Go to coffee shops that have live music and then you can talk to other customers about that.
You def do not have to go to a bar and get drunk to meet girls!

I'm keeping my eye on this because I have the same problems. Meeting the bar girls never seems to work out too well in the long run. Plenty of places to meet them. It hetting the guts up for the inital hello that gets me.

Yeah i hate partying and im a 24 year old female.
Drink only on the very odd occassion.
Say Hi and start with just general conversation maybe ask where she is from or comment on the weather or something like that
