Last semester I took my first Philosophy class. We studied Plato's dialogues on Socrates for a big portion of the class. I plan on taking some more philosophy classes next semester so I am reviewing what I studied last semester to prepair. I'm new to philosophy and am still trying to figure things out.

In the Euthyphro i'm trying to figure out the elenctic method. Do you think it is a useful method or problematic?
Personally I think it's a good tool to use, but I can't figure out WHY I think this. It can cause some problems. How does socrates use the 'elenchus' to refute the definitions of piety that Euthyphro gives?

Do you have any other good points about the Euthyphro? Any other discussions?

I have a wedding to go to for a friend coming up in early May. I'm looking for the right bra to go with my dress. The bra needs to be strapless. I really want a push-up bra, and I'd prefer it was padded as well. The problem is my size - I'm a 34DD and it's hard to find what I'm looking for!

I have gone out with 3 of my 7 guy friends and it has not worked out. I have realized that going out with my friends will not work for me because they are all the same so if I break up with one, I am bound to break up with the other. I see cute, nice guys at school all the time but I never know how to start a conversation. Once I start talking to a guy, it is easy after that but I just need help getting started. I have only studyhall with this guy named Kyle and he talked to me a few times but only to ask me for simple things like a piece of paper or pencil. He is so cute but we aren't even in the same grade. How do I talk to him?

so that even a pro can't get it. (I'm looking for an answer more advanced than just simply deleting it off my computer from the recycle bin- because I know that it is still retreveable with recovery software, even after deleted. Recap: I've engaged in dry sex with little or no fluid with clothes on during the second day of my period this month. I have been having cramps for 8 days now and think i'm showing more and more symptoms. Ive read on darkening around the nipples and all sorts which I think mine are, but not sure. I saw 2 doctors (1 of which I saw 3 times, telling me she doesn't think so and that's it's just guilt) , and a clinician twice who found me kind of irritating saying I couln't have! My concern is, why am I having these symptoms and I really don't wanna get pregnant yet. I mean I cannot fuly penetrate if there's clothes on... Please, any suggestions or contributions from experienced?

I feel like my bra is bigger on me. Is it that my boobs are getting bigger? Please help... I don't know what's going on in my body. I feel more tired than usual. It only been more than a week so I don't know.

im 9weeks pregnant and he doesnt believe its his so now hes back with his ex and saying he wants to be there if its his after the baby is born but hes putting me through hell now stressing me out making me depressed. so is it wrong for me to just want to leave him alone completely? i know the baby is his and i love him very much but i dont want to deal with accusations through another pregnancy( my first kids dad did the same but the day my son was born he regreted accusing me) i miss him so much but cant stop pictureing him with her even though im having his first kid and t makes me sick!! we have both made mistakes but the kid is his and he is far from perfect like everyone im so lost but feel like i should just cut him out of my life completely and let it burn!!

I think i suffer social anxieties. i can barely go anywhere without the constant fear of the people that will be there. it has caused me to lose friends, lose close relationships with family, and its really ruining my life. I rarely leave my house any more bcause of it. i want to know is this social anxiety? And if so, what can i do to solve it?

Wouldn't it be cruel and inhumane to continue to eat meat (animals) now that Britain is cross blending human and animal embryos? There would be conflict of animal human beings seeing humans eat meat. So, shouldn't ppl start to not eat meat? Nor eating humans for the future. We would think slavery was an obsticle, but this newly created existence is something the British could use against us. So, avoiding new conflicts and confusion is the best prevention.

i hurt my wrist on thursday and i think its just badly sprained but theres no telling for sure. i can move it in every thing and it swelled up the day after but the swelling has mostly gone down now. still hurts but not nerly as bad. think i should go to the docter and get it x-rayed???
