I really hope you get better. I would first put a heating pad on it, and if it doesn't get better then I would go to the doctor. Get an ace bandage or something.Since the swelling has gone down, I'm not sure if it is broken, but it is better to be checked and it not be anything, than to you to suffer and it be broken. I really hope you get better!

If it's just a sprain and there is no broken bone, I don't think an X-ray will show anything. But yes, I do think you need to see a doctor, if for no other reason than to find out for sure, and to get some relief from the pain.

Yes, you really should get an x-ray to definitely rule out a fracture. Even if it's not fractured, sprains and/or torn ligaments need attention, too, often times they should be immobilized and allowed to heal.
I dropped a drawer on my foot and thought it was bruised so I waited 2 days to have an x-ray. It was severely fractured and had to be surgically screwed back together. This was 8 weeks ago and I'm still in a cast. Don't wait, get it taken care of. Hope you're fine, sorry you're in pain.

why do people bother to ask stuff like this here first? if its bad enough that it causes concern that is out of the ordinary to you, then yes should go to the doctor. cause you could have sprained it or whatever, but you could also have a hairline fracture that your not aware of. that happend to me when i broke my jaw, i fell, and hit it just right, and there was so much swelling that even the doctors couldnt tell it was broken till two days later. so go get it checked out, if it concerns you that badly, cause its better safe than sorry. sounds cheesy but its the truth.

i'm not a doctor but i know a little first aid, soak your wrist in a warm water for at least 15 minutes do this three times a day so the blood circulate freely, if the pain still didn't subside for few days better consult a doctor

I would go to a doctor but if you think you can do without going them you need to at least wrap it up in an ace bandage and try not to move it a lot. Best of luck! I hope its not broken!

You should deff. go to the doctor. It never hurts. Sometimes, they might even be able to help a bad sprain.
