ODU is the ultimate bubble team. Right now, all over ESPN and other sporting networks, they are arguing against the fact that Joe Lunardi has ODU in the tourney over bigger schools. ODU won 12 straight before losing in the conference tournament and they finished second in a strong league but the Colonial Conferece is only the 7th rated RPI conference. And ODU's only significant win was at Georgetown (the big east champions). Does a midmajor school like ODU deserve a bid over Stanford. On paper, yes. In reality, Stanford is better. But all that matters to the committee is what have you done for me lately, which means a team like Air Force is probably out and a team like ODU is the last team in.

I don't think Illinois is making it. They ran out of gas in the conference tourney today. If they let Illinois in, they'd have to let NCSU in (which I think is more deserving anyway).
I really don't think Old Dominion will make it in. There are so many good teams this year, and so many deserving teams on the bubble.
