My ex-fiance beat me and put me in the hospital. I filed charges against him. He weaved his prelimanary hearing, and was schuduled to be arraigned March 8th, but when I got there they told me he didn't have to show up because his Public Defender had already arraigned him out of court. What is this called and what does it mean? I have one child with him and am 8 months preganent with our second, I am trying to get him served with child support papers and a Protection from Abuse Order, but he keeps avoiding court. His Lawyer will not give us the address to have him served. The address he gave court was his mothers address and she said he was not welcome back at her house. She has not seen nor heard from him and does not know were to send his mail! How can I get his address to have him served with these papers?

A little old lady is walking down the street, dragging two plastic garbage bags with her, one in each hand. There's a hole in one of the bags, and every once in a while a $20 bill is flying out of it onto the pavement.

Noticing this, a policeman stops her..."Ma'am, there are $20 bills falling out of that bag..." "I'd better go back and see if I can still find some. Thanks for the warning!"
Well, now, not so fast," says the cop. "How did you get all that money? Did you steal it?" "Oh, no", says the little old lady. "You see, my back yard backs up to the parking lot of the football stadium and each time there's a game, a lot of fans come and pee in the bushes, right into my flower beds!"
"So, I go and stand behind the bushes with a big hedge clipper, and each time someone sticks his little thingie through the bushes, I say: $20 or off it comes!"
"Hey, not a bad idea!" laughs the cop. "OK, good luck! By the way, what's in the other bag?" "Well, not all of them can pay."

My niece, has had a very hard time growing up. And now that she is facing the fact that she may not graduate this spring, I am wondering what would be the best advice for her. The school referred her to some correspondence courses. But they are too expensive. The thought of getting a GED, seems like it wouldn't look that good on her record. Is there anything else she can do?

is it better to be with a guy whom u luv or to be with the 1 who luvs u? i had a boyfrnd and we were very much in luv. but then suddenly after around 2 months he stopped talking to me n never replyed my calls or msgs for next 1 month. i simply accepted that he had broken up. then 1 guy from my nearby college called me up and asked me to be his friend. he said he has seen me many times n really likes me...... well then we startd datin n he made me feel like he cares for me. my ex came to know about it n then he clarifyed that he has always cared for me but bcuz of his strict mom and some exams he couldnt talk to me i realised my mistake but it was too late. now my ex and i realised that we cant stay without each other and r back again. my 2nd boyfriend has never made me cry and says that he still luvs me and will be always there for me . he is not even seeing any other gal. my bf fights with me.many guys come 2 me n every1 says im hot n swt whos the betr one? who wants 2 jus use me?

Do you miss being pregnant? Do you miss being able to feel your baby kick ? Do you miss all the stuff you did before you had your baby and the day you had him or her?


Well im trying to figure out why im feeling so depressed and why I want to be pregnant again so bad. I keep telling myself that is crazy and I can't have another baby right now. Well I did have a baby last june now he is 9 months old and since its getting to be the time of year were I use to remember being pregnant the most im feeling really sad. I did have post pardom depression but do i still have it you think?

Well my question is have you felt the same way a year after you had your baby? Or is the depression coming back?

I found out yesterday from my dr that my blood pregancy test came back negative so therefore I'm not pregant from what she told me and I have started my what I hoped was my period for 2 days. But I still feel a bit nausueas but not as much and I have noticed that I've gained few pounds,not sure as too why. How accurate are blood pregancy tests and are there such a thing as false blood pregancy tests?

My high heel shoes always smell fine when I first get them, but after a while they start to smell really bad & make my feet smell bad whenever I take them off. Is there anything I can clean the inside of them with to make the smell come out? I know its hard to keep shoes like this smelling nice since you dont wear socks with them, but I dont want to just throw them out. Can anyone help?

Okay, so I have a friend who's 15. She's depressed and has been struggling with a lot of things. I have been really trying to help her by talking about her problems and relating to my depression that I struggled with for the longest time. (And still do occasionally). Well, in any case, she constantly tells me that if it weren't for me, she would commit suicide. That in itself scares me. She's been my best friend for 5 years.

Well, just the other day when she was in a really deep period of anger and depression, she began to drink! I would never expect that she would do this. Well, today she's coming over to my house to do a sort of weekly discussion (of life and depression and stuff)...and I don't know what to say, what to do. I feel so awkward around her now, and it's just so hard for me to realize that my best friend is doing this to herself.

i noticed that one of my fish had a few spot on his head, they looked like tiny bubbles that's stuck to his head. is this 'ich'? will my other fishes contract this? i put in medicine for the ich and raised the temperature a bit. would that get rid of the 'ich' or will all my fish die?

I watched a program about people dying in Palliative Care. It showed how they deteriorated and finally to where they were on their death beds. They lay there - sometimes for days, struggling to breathe, with the death rattle in their throats. It was painful to watch, and I can't see how anyone could watch and not see that allowing this seems very much like torture. If this were YOUR loved one, how could you watch this? Do people really believe that we need to 'go through Hell' to get to Heaven? Can we watch the people we love, going through torture, and feel this is okay?

I'm not talking about Euthanasia for any situation other than this one - the struggle for breath that's slipping away, with NO CHANCE for recovery ...
