My sister just got a Compaq Presario laptop and she has ATT Yahoo DSL that connects through her phone line, she does not have to dial for connection. She has a regular desktop PC already and it is connected by this DSL but what is her best bet to connect wirelessly on her laptop? The easiest and for a good price. Thanks.

Can any USB device perfrom its desired fucntion without the computer knowing about its presence. for example when a usb deivce is attached the computer searches for the drivers and installs them and the usb device is ready to run. if a plug and play usb is inserted in the usb port of computer, the computer doesnt sense the existence of usb. and the usb device can still send or recive data to the computer RAM using DMA (Direct Memory Access).

I try to stay positive, be a good wife and mother. Regardless of what I do, though, I feel like we are on different pages. We always seem to want different things. I'd like to live in a house, he wants "stuff" (SM Radio, new truck, XBox, Computer games, etc). I think most of our problems stem from financial issues, though neither of us can see the others point of view. He thinks I get all the money (I pay all the bills) and he gets nothing. I am going to a "good sense" money class in a couple weeks so I have really looked at our spending. Where I spend $50 a month on myself and our kids he spends about $100 on cigarettes, 30 on beer, 40 for DSL, 10 for world of warcraft fees, big car payment, xbox games, etc. He spends most of his free time gets spent playing games. I am not a "nagger". I understand him needing time to relax, but I hate feeling like we (me & the kids) come last. Please don't tell me what I should have done or not done, and I'm not leaving him. What should I do?

Okay, I have been with my girlfriend almost a year. Going into the relationship I knew she was into drugs really bad. I got her a lot of help, and never left her side. I was always there for her! She relapsed close to Christmas, and afterwards she said she never did until just recently (this past month) and come to find out, she has actually NEVER stopped doing drugs. She is on probation and could go to jail for 4-6 years if shes busted! She and cried a lot last night, and hugged, well this morning she also told me she did COCAIN not just weed! That's HUGE! She said shes changing, that she wants to, and that I am her only hope. We signed a year contract for a house together and it doesn't end until Dec of 07. I don't want to give up, I am drug testing her every month to see how she is doing, and if she's really trying. I am in love with her, and I believe she feels the same about me, but what should I do? I need a lot of help! I have never done drugs, or drank! Real answers please!

This little brat attacked me and I kicked him hard in the leg and then punched him 3 times in the stomach leaving him crying.

Best kind of defense is an attack, is what I've learned in life. He came flying at me screaming he's gonna F me up, so as soon as he crossed into my personal space, I kicked him down hard and then punched him...

That should teach the brat a lesson, but then again, I am 11 years older than him, could I face some kind of consequence for this? He knows who I am.
