how long's gonna take to see a change with a 25 min programme? tell me a bit about the effects of this sport on my body

I think you should see results in 4-6 weeks if you do it 5 times a week.

tae bo is NOT a martial art.

EDIT: if I sound rude, it is because I think it promotes a negative image of the martial arts to mix these "executive boxing" and "cardio karate" type of workouts with real fighting. Placing them in the martial arts section when they are clearly just a form of cardio or aerobics without focus on the things that learning these techniques or applying them or how to generate power behind them really give you.

Like some people said here Tae Bo is not a martial arts is an aerobic excercise. I agree that it reflects negatively on the martial arts. Aerobics with kicks and punches,,,LOL

It's a good aerobic workout, but only effective for self defense if your attacker is singing.
