Breaking up is painful, but out of this relationship you should learn something about yourself. Take some time and just be alone. Just blab everything down on paper, like you are just writing down your thoughts. They don't have to make sense at first, but after a while those thoughts will start to make sense. It is the best way to work out all of your thoughts and feelings. You will cry, you will probably have more clarity about somethings, and other things will be even more confusing to you, but all of this will help.
Then take some time for yourself. Do something that you enjoy to do. If you like music go and buy some cd's or just lay around listening to music. If you like movies then go and watch your favorite whether its mushy or not. If you like to travel then go somewhere. It doesn't have to be far away or a long trip. Just take a weekend and go to a nearby town or someplace that you can just get away from it all.
My wife cheated on me and it was so painful because I didn't see it coming. You can get through it. :)

Dont go around him if possible, atleast not for now. if you do see him, pretend like nothing happened, as if he and what happened was unimportant.
Think of this, it was just a waste of time and you dont want to continue wasting your time on him now anyways. yes it hurts, but he was not the one anyways. it is just a stepping stone towards the one you are to be with. Practice, he showed you qualities you want and dont want in your future relationships.
Just dont give him the time of day, dont waste your efforts on him, move on and he will see that you have moved on, Sure you may need to fake it at first, but it could help the healing. Instead of sitting at home thinking about how hurt and betrayed you feel, go out and have some fun, you are free now, enjoy life. Hope this helps, good luck and good health to you.

Breakups always affect everybody. The only way out is through the hurt. Don't get into another relationship to get back at him. It will only make the situation worse. In the meantime, learn tennis, take art lessons, go skydiving. Find a new interest.

Im guessing it's impossible for you not to see him in your everyday activities huh? I suggest you do this then. Dont act all bitchy when you see him. Or worse, dont avoid him. Look at him face to face and act like he wasnt worth nothing. Stand your ground. Don't give him the satisfaction.

hey, it's really going to affect you no matter how hard you try right? What matter is you show him you're fighting it and that you're not sucking up to him. take it easy, alright? this is a hard time for you but the best thing for you is to avoid where he is as much as you can. My friend tried doing what you did, it drove her nuts and got her crying all night. You don't deserve that loser alright, you've got friends, hide behind them. Trust me, those you consider true friends, will cover for you.:) hang in thre!

If there is no trust in a relationship, there can be no relationship; at least no healthy relationship. It sounds to me like you have already done what you needed to do to value yourself, terminate the relationship. You deserve a relationship where there is trust!

Oh...he is going to see it...no escape for that...just accept it...and there is nothing wrong if he notice that you are affected...just don't fall apart in front of him.
