It is because I know someone who saw them and even eat with them. And the person was not lying. Plus both my father and my mather saw them, in fuct all people on their age are familiar with elves and dwarfs.

I feel really stupid, but this joke has puzzled me for many years. On the Simpsons episode in which the family moves to Cypress Creek, Homer is too inept to notice that his new boss, Hank Scorpio (voiced by Albert Brooks) is a terrorist supervillian. At one point, Homer wanders into Hank's office with a cup of coffee asking if he has any sugar. Hank reaches into his pants pocket and pulls out a handful of sugar, and says, "Sorry it's not in packets."

Is this something esoteric, obscure, or perhaps a cocaine reference? Or is it possibly just random enough to be funny?

Hope I don't look like too much of a moron right now.

Are there non-Muslim and non-Jewish Europeans who bleive that Jesus son of Mary was only a human prophet? I know that there were many Christian sects that believed that Jesus was only a human being who came with a message like Moses...do followers of these sects survive today?

I recently watched a programme on BBC TV about the Gunfight at the OK Corrall. The programme attempted to de-mythologise the incident and was historically based, using transcripts of the murder trial against the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday which followed the shoot out. I was interested to see that the (not guilty) verdict was brought in by the judge alone, sitting without a jury. Was that normal practise at the time? Was it anything to do with the fact that Arizona was still a territory, rather than a state?

I'm interested in this, both as a retired lawyer and because my mother's elder sister was married to a Mr. Earp! But in Norlfolk, England!

I also work out everyday and burn off 200 calories on the treadmill. But recently I've been feeling really exhausted. I had palpitations one time and completely blacked out another. I've given up the treadmill over the last week or so, but I still don't eat more than that. I'm terrified of putting on weight now. I've read that the calories you expend should always be greater than what the intake is. But if your intake is 800-1000 calories a day, how do you burn off that many? I've also heard that models only eat 500 calories a day and that's how they stay so slim. Any advice / suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Both sides are already used and there is no place here that recycles paper. Any ideas on what else I can do with them instead of just throwing them away? I really don't want to just throw them away because I feel like I'm killing more trees. Can I recycle them myself? How?

Cutting Dep:
Indirect Labour - £120,000
Direct Labour - £50,000
Labour hours - 12,640

Cooking Dep:
Indirect Labour - 140,000
Direct Labour - 42,000

Machine hours - 15,700

Assuming a labour hour overhead absorption rate for the cutting department and a machine hour overhead rate for the cooking department, calculate the overheads for a batch of turkeys which use 2 hours of labour in the cutting department and 1.5 machine hours in the cooking department.
