you just need to find a way to calm yourself,if your extremely anxious, worrying about your performance, then you will go blank. I did this once and when I was asked my date of birth I gave him the right month, day, but gave him the year we were in,lol,he just laughed, but really, you need to find something that helps in keeping you calm,a funny thought, etc,or before you start, kind of make light of the situation and say something to him about how nervous you get when the spotlights on you,and that you hope you dont go completely blank. I also have done that one, just to break the tension,we both laughed and things went on. As the exam goes on,you'll relax more and more. Good Luck to you!!

As for me, whe I've been in your situation I've always rehearsed in my head every possible question I can think of, so when you get it you have something to retrieve quickly. You have to remind yourself to appear confident and maintain eye contact, too. By going over the questions in your mind beforehand, it will increase your confidence, and, thus allow you to PASS!! Good Luck, future Doc!!!

I have learned that it really does work to envision yourself doing really well, by "seeing" yourself do well in your mind's eye. Anxiety actually makes the part of your brain that stores and retrieves information become busy because it is overworking itself on the anxiety.

why not get a group of your peers and do a mock up trial of the coming interview?
