you could use them as toilet paper, you could stuff them in a pillow case to make a pillow, you could make spitballs out of them, the possibilities are endless

if you want to recycyle them then try making paper bags out of them, it is a fun activity we've learned in our school and does'nt take a lot of time or skills.
you may follow the following steps:
figure 1 step one
Carefully take the bag apart along its seam and lay it out on the table in front of you.
figure 2 step two
Trim off the bottom so that you have a long rectangular sheet left.
figure 3 step three
Fold the paper over longways so that the corners meet. Crease well and then unfold. Fold the paper over in the other direction. Place the corners together and crease well. Do not unfold.
figure 4 step four
Fold back one side as shown in figure 4. Place the corners together and crease well. Repeat with the other side.
figure 5 step five
Unfold the last two folds. Holding the folded side in your hand, cut along the center line until you reach the first vertical fold.
figure 6 step six
Open the paper so that eight sections are showing. Fold the page over longways. (If there are pictures or words on the paper they should be on the inside.)
figure 7 step seven
Holding on to each side, gently push the ends together to form the pages of the book.
figure 8 step eight
Fold the front and back covers around so that the corners meet. Crease well. You should have six pages inside for writing and artwork.
or you may use it to cover your notebooks an books.

Where do you live? Don't you have recycling?
In Tampa Florida we have recycling at our curb once a week of paper, glass, cans. aluminum plain cardboard.
Do you have community recycling boxes in your town? Before we got home picked up recycling we took it to a recycling dumpster in a shopping center.
Check around to find some place. Good for you for not wanting to add to our landfills and kill more trees.

Use them under mulching chips to keep weeds down. A layer of 3-4 sheets is good (5-6 if newspaper) and be sure to wet them thoroughly.
Use the colorful ones for wrapping gifts.
Drop them off at the Welcome to Wisconsin office in Hudson. They have recycling containers. I think they take paper as well as cans, bottles, etc.

Its worth looking up on the internet how to make recycled paper, once you have worked out how to do it yourself, package the recyled stuff and sell it off around your neighbourhood, there will always be someone willing to buy it and use it for letter writing or cards and school projects etc.....

Please collect these papers without mixing with other materials, and could be re processed to lower grade papers. That is what done in all well organized big establishment. Your concern to nature is appreciated and more and more people have to think like this for a pollution free world. Best of luck.
