can you tell what country someone is from by hearing them speak...........please explain how they sound
in terms of speed, grammer, and accent

I think a major issue in the upcoming election(why the hell are we talking about it yet, anyways!) will be whether the government should provide universal health care to all Americans. My question is, isn't it more important that we concentrate on lowering healthcare costs rather than giving everyone health insurance? Regardless of whether the government or a private company is giving you insurance, the hospital bill will be the same. Much of the reason people cannot afford health insurance is because the high cost of medical procedures cause insurance to cost too much. Why doesn't the government treat the cause(health care costs) rather than the symptom(health care insurance)?

By the way, I am not advocating either party's position.

i live in san diego and am a fulltime student but have open weekends and many hours during the day open .. i email volunteer organizations but rarely get emails back .. i want to help out in any way that i can .. i'm mostly interested in fighting poverty along with other things such as abuse etc. are there any organizations that i could directly volunteer for ? i dont care about pay .. i would like to make a difference tho in any way that i can .. is any one else in the san diego area interested in this ? i dont know what to do but theres so much food going to waste at my school and i'd love to take it to the border or honestly do anything .. if anyone is apart of an organization and would like help or if anyone knows of a very good one and has there number please post it here .. thanks !

I was on the TicketMaster site for hours this morning ordering tickets to various shows, then I came back after lunch and it isn't working. It's NOT the same as when they tell me I can only do so much on their site...this is like a "this page can't be displayed" error message. Anyone else having that problem?

I have an interview for a job next week and was wondering if I should tell them I am preggo? I don't want them to not hire me because of it and I know it is discrimination if they don't but I would never be able to prove it. I got a roll of D Dollars, and found about half were one way and half were the other. Is this an expect thing or an error.

I tend to think it is the way it is and not an error, but some are posted on ebay as errors.

Hi, i was shock when i got pulled over by a police man at the LAX,he gave me a red light ticket stating i'm 1 second late.I don't think i ran a red light and I have good driving history, never had ticket or accident for the past 13 years. what should i do? will it increase my insurance premium? should i go to court to dispute or just take it and go to traffic school. I'm assuming by going to traffic school can avoid the point and premium increase right???
