When I'm at home i put a reminder clock on the times on Islam channel. When I'm not at home i make a note of them in the morning and keep it with me throughout the day. Also i have an Islamic calender that tells prayer times everyday throughout the year.

Dan D just to let you know as Muslim we pray at specific times of day, 5 times a day and these times change daily as does the time of sunrise and sunset. God has told us to pray at these specific times. It is Gods schedule and whether you want to recognize it or not is irrelevant, it exists.

I bought a $30 prayer clock in Chicago that also adjusts to DST. Just put the code for your city in and it goes off. It says the Azan, but you can set it 10 to 30 minutes before to go off as an alarm to get ready in case you were sleeping or something else.

I am a Bahai. Our prayer times are defined by the sun. There is the morning prayer between sunrise and noon, the second prayer between noon and sunset and a third prayer between sunset and two hours after sunset. I have a program on my computer that gives me the times of sunrise and sunset based on the date and the geographic coordinates of my location. As a Muslim, you are likely to find similar programs on the web, or you may ask your local mosque.

I'm not Muslm. But many of us Catholics use the Liturgy of the Hours.

I am good on the weekends. But during the work day it is far more difficult.

I used to have a Palm Pilot that beeped reminders. But I killed it.

I just have to be constantly aware. Which is what God wants of us anyway isn't it?

Peace be with you.

What, so now God has a schedule based on a simple small little planet full of monkeys that claim to be “smart”? (don’t forget we are smaller than a dot in this universe that is over 13 billion light years across).

Please, give me a break. Not to insult any religion, but I really find stupid the way things work with religions.

Shouldn’t it be better if you would set those alarms and palm pilots and cell phones to call your significant others or to go and have dinner with your family together, or to go and help your friends if they are in distress?

I am sure that if there is a God out there, he is not looking for you to be praying at whatever particular time, but to be trying to become a better man/woman and help and take care of your family and friends.

Just my opinion. You do what you think is best.

This will tell you what times the prayers should be done. Just select your country, then enter the area of the country.
