I had a credit card "charged-off" on my credit report and a collection agency that is for the same account is also on it. I was going to pay the collection agency when I got a letter from the credit card company that says I can still pay the charge-off. Do I have to pay both of these now or is one better than the other? If I pay the original creditor will the collection be taken off?

1. They say over 300 women died from cervical cancer...But upon research...only 1 died from cancer caused by these four virses.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could possibly help me with the following 2 questions. I think I know the answers already just from my own experience when it comes to Defense Attorneys and Clients, but I just want to be sure since this assignment counts for a large portion of my grade. So as a defense attorney, what would you do under the following circumstances?

The first question is; Your client tells you that if you lose the case, his/her friends will harm your family?


The second question is; Your client insists on testifying, even though you believe that it is not in his/her best interest to do so?

My uncle Charlie bought an abandoned house in Chicago 25 years ago for $10,000.
Last year he sold it to a developer for $300,000, it will be torn down and turned into a condo complex.
He is a factory worker and would rather keep the money than put it into another house which he might not be able to afford long term.
He owns another house which is his primary residence.
What are some deductions that he can use so he won't end up giving half his money away?

I do my own design, build every individual page and use Joomla for content management. The thing is, I need to have a rough idea from u professional people out there, how long u guys take to build a website such as mine. For a company, not so big. The situation in Iraq has almost nothing to do with International Terrorism. It never did.

There IS an insurgency, but it's motivated by our very presence there! If we leave, there will be no more reason for an insurgency. And the insurgents will NOT come here!

More and more, what Iraq is about is a Shiite-Sunni civil war. Why is that our concern? What do we care who wins that? Why should we put ourselves in the middle of that? How does it benefit our national security to attempt to intervene in that?

We CANNOT pacify that country. Only the Iraqis can do that. And if they cannot, toough crap. They'll deserve what happens.

Why do you insist that we keep p1ssing away American lives for NOTHING?

My wedding is in May and at first I wanted to wear a sandle with a heal but after wearing them for my fitting I realized just how uncomfortable they were. Now I think I want a peek a boo shoe, my bridesmaids are wearing them. I figure if I get these type of shoes I can insert a cushion or something, so I can make it as comfortable as possible since I will be on my feet all day. Monday night my now ex boyfriend was over at my house (like every night) and was checking his email. Well, for the first time ever he checked his MySpace with me beside him and I saw there were recent messages from his ex (the chick he was still hung up on). While he was eating I went to go check my MySpace and saw he was still signed in so I checked the emails and he had emailed her Feb. 27 & 28 and told her "I love you and I always will". I was so upset that I made him come from outside into my room and I told him to sit down and shut up then I locked the door so he had no choice but to listen to what I had to say. I chewed him out saying he needed to make up his mind. I left him in there to think of what he wanted and when I came back he was like, you're telling me you went through my personal private messages and I said yes and he said it's over and walked out and left. I've been so upset but I laughed when his ex deleted him from her MS the next day so in the long run he got his.

Now he said he thinks we did it to fast, I mean i have done everything he asked. really do not know what but now he seems un-happy and its making me un-happy. i Know if i deside to move out there is a chance i will not see him as often plus he iwll go out with his friends. ( his friends are not the greatest people ) Im not sure what to do. Plus if i move out and go live with my grandma who could use my help my father will get mad.
