Well as long as its Communication of the verbal kind then i dont see why that would be wrong lots of people stay friends with there ex's. It just a matter of not letting it effect any new relationships you might have in the future.

It's okay by me... I have good relationships with all my ex's even the very 1st boyfriend I ever had (we still talk) just because a person comes into your life, you spend time thinking they are there romantically, find out that's not the case, doesn't mean they weren't meant to come into your life for another purpose.

It's all good so long as the current boyfriend understands this.

There is nohing wrong with havins good communication with someone your not with anymore ...is rather good to be good then be on eachothers bad side...the only complicated thing is to take in consideration if your with someone and still talkin with yith your ex you will have to understand your partners point of view

My ex-husband is one of my best friends. We email each other regularly and see each other occasionally.

He is a great bloke and I'd trust him with my life.

This has caused problems in the past for new partners, but they get used to it once they realise that if we still wanted to be together, then we still would be together.

there's nothing wrong with that, as long as the communication setting is just a friendly talk.

If there are feelings from his part then it would be bad to communicate because he might get his hopes up..but if there are no feelings invovled there is nothing wrong..

I don't think there's any harm in remaining friends, as long as you both are happy just being friends.... can get messy if one of you is still in love with the other and hoping things will change...

not always it depends on your intention, if your intention is just friendship then fine but his intention has to be the same as long as neither of you are doing it for the intention of getting back together an the other doesnt want to then it is fine. just make sure you are doing it for the right reasons

It's very difficult to move on if you do, so I would say a clean break and stay away
