I have no idea why the Gov. of Texas initiated this. It is absurd to say the least. I am aware that young girls can be sexually active, and that is where and how the HPV is spread, and affects the young girls the most since they're bodies simply aren't mature enough and the tears that naturally occur invites the virus. To subject the young girls, and thus the parents in an unjust and I believe it will be (or at least SHOULD) be constitutionally challenged. The best prevention is NOT from the government, but from home. It is the parents responsiblity; and Texas seems to think that the parents can't do anything right so their going to step in....tsk, tsk.

I have heard in professional circles a rumor that the Governors main contributor in political monies is from this pharmaceutical company. It's all conjucture as I certainly haven't dug it up to find out who those contributors are, but that makes sense.

Corruption? I think it leans that way, and a smarter man would have run away from this mandate.

In regards to the use of human embryros to make this vaccine, yes that is true as well as chicken pox primarily. And it does give an ethical quandary to those who are Pro Life; and these parents only recourse at this time is to state "Refusal. Religious objections."

I didn't know girls were being FORCED, but then the same thing happened with the Chicken Pox vaccine. We were told it kept kids from getting the illness, but they had not studied it enough, now they know it barely helps! We still have huge outbreaks in the schools. Goverment should stay out of health care.
