My daughter is almost 2 and she still uses her pacifier at bedtime. Some people tell me it's no big deal since she's only using it to sleep and others tell me that it's the worst thing in the world. I get two very different points of view and I'm not sure which is right. Was it terrible to let her go this far with a pacifier? Is the pacifier doing any real damage?
The second her eyes are closed, the paci falls right out of her mouth and she will sleep soundly for the rest of the night without it. But if she doesn't have it initially when she lays down, she will NOT fall asleep no matter how tired she is. My husband and I have spent countless nights trying to get her to sleep without it, but we usually give in somewhere around 3 am when we can't hold our eyes open anymore!

my stereo has 2 rca out puts...one says rear speakers...the other says front speakers.........please excuse the ignorance, but when using an amp to power subs...i should use the set for the rear right? The amp has an rca input and a pass through....i connected the rca's to the input.....

Everytime you turn on the ESPN, all you hear is stuff like Dice-k threw 103 pitches in a bullpen session or at 11:53 Dice-K threw his first pitch as a Red Sox, or Manny Rameriz isn't going to show up for spring training, or Jeter and Arod aren't getting along, etc. I'm sick and tired about hearing about these two teams. I live in a dark area of town where there is no street lights. I have been wanting to get flood lights to illuminate the outside at night when we get home, so that we dont have to walk in the darkness to the house.
I saw these and was wondering if they were any good,

The only reason i am going for solar powered is because we are renting and there is no connection outside for a flood light where it is needed. The only out door lights we have is in the backyard, (on the rightside of the house), and the porch, (in the front). Neither illuminate an area where someone could easliy hide in the shadows.
