After confirmation of your pregnancy your doctor will make arrangements for your antenatal care. Most women have their first and longest antenatal check- up between weeks 8 and 12 of pregnancy. The earlier you start attending antenatal check-ups the better. You should then attend antenatal check-ups once a month until 28 weeks, then twice a month until you are 36 weeks pregnant. During the last 4 weeks of your pregnancy you should go every week.

Hope this helps.

If you haven't already you should start absolutely now. Yesterday in fact.

This is about the time you will be offered prenatal testing as well, so the sooner you get yourself to a doctor the better.

You will also need to book in with an OB/GYN if you want/need to, as most of them have waitlists.

The sooner in your pregnancy you start professional care, the better overall, generally - whether that be a full on doctor for a planned hospital delivery with all the trimmings, or you want the care of a midwife and minimalist intervention.

you should have started when you first knew you were pregnant. Your doctor will put you on a schedule for check-ups. Once a month up until about your 6 or 7 months, then every 2 weeks until your 9th month and then every week. Good luck.

The best time would be NOW! You need to get regular checkups to make sure everything is going well.

thats prenatal check ups, you should have had your first one the first time you figured you were pregnant, then every month till the last month when they will check you weekly.
