I just recently got a 5 month old yellow lab mix and I moved to Florida with him and my other dog. For the first few days he was normal and playful. But the night before last I had taken them on a 2 mile walk. When we arrived back home they were fine just very tierd. The next day the puppy threw up a yellow mucus. I called the vet to get him an appointment, because I was worried he had parvo. They were of no help and can't see him till next week. So I've been keeping him hydrated, and I feed him canned food every few hours. He has the desire to eat and drink but he can't seem to hold down the food. Today he seems to be doing better, but is still having trouble holding down food. He slept all day yesterday, but today he has more energy and wants to play with our older dog. My question is, how can I help him get better? I have antibiotics for dogs, that I've been giving him, and I've given him plenty of fluids. It doesn't seem like parvo, but I'm still worried! Could it be a flu?

My ex and i have a joint mortgage i want to move out with my son and get a place of our own so he is going to buy me out but wants me to wait another six months to get himself a job and sorted out i really dont want to do this as ive waited a year and half already, i feel he tries to control me sometimes by telling me what i can and cant do even though he moved out into his new g/f, and i want my own place so he cant tell me wot to do anymore. ive refused to wait six more months what kind of lawyer would i need to see a property or family one so i can get my share of the money to get a new place.

We broke up because of his committment phobic issues. He called me and told me what is going on in his life. I didn't want to hear it, I lost it and told him how much he hurt me...how much I don't want to know about what is going on in his life. He was an hour away and drove to see me. He was crying...actually told me he loved me...he never did beforel Now what do I do? What does the crying mean? Should I believe him? Deep down I know he is the one for me...but I can't go through the hurt I went through before.

Update: I fell in love with him. It seemed like he felt the same...everything was perfect. Then he started treating me really bad, like never taking me around anyone. Enough was enough. So when I told him how bad he hurt me that is when he cried. He said he didn't realize how much I loved him and then he told me he loved me. And it was hard for him to say it....I have no idea why he has a problem saying it. Help!

My girl and me were messing around the other day, she starts giving me pleasure down there with her hands and i cup my hands around hers for a few moments then i move my hands down to her. I didnt *** before anything and i was just wondering the chances of anything happening from this. After my hand touched her hands, i didnt do anything with them for a min or so, it was either on my blankets or touching her underware. I regularly see attempts to disprove global warming from the right-wing that include comparing the "scare tactic" of global warming with the "scare tactics" behind the ozone layer and y2k.

The implication being made is obvious: that global warming is a myth, just like the hole in the ozone layer and the y2k bug.

I agree that global warming is a myth like the ozone hole and y2k, i.e it's not a myth, just as they weren't.

The ozone layer hole did exist, and we acted and now that crisis is less of an issue. Comparing global warming to y2k is even more puzzling. The y2k bug was not a myth at all. There were very serious issues in many operating systems and programs that required patching and code changes to avoid failure or problems.

The exact reason that y2k was not a catastrophe is that we acted. We made changes.

Why does the right take two examples of situations where acting averted catastrophe, and claim that they are a reason that we should do nothing about global warming?
