So my friend lived in New Orleans, was married to this man and had 2 children. She is now 27 and living up here in Chicago w/her parents and two children. When she was married to this man he used to beat her. The children have been witness to this and were also hit.

Her divorce papers have been filed and are waiting on the judge's approval. Her soon-to-be-ex-husband has been calling her lately and deliberately told her he was seeing someone else. She got very upset and now wants to reconcile their marriage. He has said in the past he would do anything to get HIS kids back, but he doesn't even call them on a regular basis. My friend, her cousin and I all work together and most of the info I'm getting from the cousin.

I'm just worried that she is going to get back into that cycle. And the kids will do the same. They'll see that and think its how marriage is supposed to be. I'm worried about her as well as the children. Please give me some advice as to what to do.

I'm 18 years old and I am not waiting till i'm married till I have sex i'm just waiting for the right person. I've dating alot of people in the past and I have always told myself i'm not just going to give myself away to a jackass who dosn't care less about me. I'm currently a feshman in college and I have been seeing someone for 5 weeks and made it offical on valentines day. It's like when we are together(we have done everything but sex) it's like my body is dying to take that next step.

He is the nicest guy, still a virgin, we are very close but his main concern is if we don't work out in the long run he dosn't want to ever emotionally hurt me.(i'm his coxin on the rowing team and technecally we arnt supposed to be dating so we just havn't told anyone but are close friends)

I know that i'm ready and he is the kind of guy I want to loose it to. I don't intend on ever sleeping around but it's like this unbelievable force by nature that my body wants to when we are together.

Don't think this is stupid, because a camera in your car could have saved many of you who read this. The Police State is coming. I know a camera could have saved me a few times. Cops do lie, but cameras are so small and inexpensive you can stop this, because a few law suits will slow this, but you have to put the camera in "BEFORE" you are stopped. www.prisonplanet.com

I've noticed a lot of questions flying around about whether being a virgin is a turn-off, and a lot of people reply saying "it's admirable" "it's sweet " etc.

But really, do they mean it, or are they just writing that to make the asker feel better?

I confess that I am a virgin (kissed, but no cigar), and I'm contemplating on doing the deed. I'm 21 BTW.

I am african-american so don't take this the wrong way. Do you think there is a double standard with black organization, schools, etc. I mean, think about it, there are black television shows, black schools, black organizations, and all sorts of other things. But if people were to make white schools, or white television shows, we'd think of it as segregation. I think that this is a great double standard and though I see nothing wrong with it I think people use the fact of slavery and that African-Americans were treated differently in the past to support this. Any thoughts?

they keep talking about some kind of "Revolution" in america as if they really think it'd be better. seems like a bunch of people who are too lazy to accept responsibility, so they want the gov to do everything for them. they're willing to give up the freedom to spend their own money, so they opt to pay high taxes. they despise the rich out of jealousy and think that the gov should be obligated to take the money of people who have worked to afford what they have. i can remember how my middle class household paid altogether about 3 months of salary every year for clinton's taxes. how did that help? do they ever think that many "poor" people are poor because of their own doings? i guess they forgot how many poor lived under the soviet system. not to mention their reverse racism agenda. they support the racist affirmative action, and on the american communist party website every race thats spoken of is capitalized except "white" as if everyone else were perfect.
