midnight he is laying in the crib screaming with eyes closed- he can scream for 40 min. if i pick him up and put him in our bed or take him to the living room floor with a sippy cup he takes 5 sips and then goes back to sleep. this has been happening for 2 weeks
if i leave him he will continue to scream for 40 min to 1 hr at a time. - doc says this is normal..... and to leave him.
- sleep deprived working parent.

I'm going traveling to the west of south america and want to learn spanish. i've noticed that you can buy european and latin american spanish coursebooks but the one i like the look of is only available in european spanish. if i learn european spanish will i be ok in south america?

If I'm overreacting, please say so, but this really has me upset.

I asked my mother if there was any way that we could arrange to have a baby shower for my daughter, who is going to be here in May. It's been ten years since I have been pregnant with my son, and I did not have anything with him. I had a tiny baby shower (I was unmarried at the time, so my mother didn't invite hardly anyone, and apologized for the inconvenience to everyone when they were leaving) with my son, and used the crib that was MINE when I was an infant (in other words, it was being held together by duct tape due to the fact that I couldn't afford anything else) to hold him). The only things I got at that shower were a couple of outfits and a few packages of diapers. It's not like I got a ton of big things.

I only asked her, though, and she laughed at me. She told me that I was being a spoiled brat by asking, and that people don't have two showers. She also made it clear that I was to go to a friend

ok so i worked at walmart in 04 but only for 3 months because i was 15 and i was pushing carts. we did not have a cart pushing machine and i hated it. so i gave them my 2 weeks notice in 05 and left. i did a application online monday and today i got a call from the same lady saying come in 2morrow for n interview. now i can remeber but anybody who knows--walmart conduct there interviews on saturday. im thinking i got re hired as long as the interview goes well which i have no reason it shouldnt. do u think if the interview goes well ill get rehired?

We are getting married this summer outside, on a grass yard. Has anyone had experience with this and know what type of shoes to get? I don't want anything that is hard to walk in on grass. but I'm not sure if the heel is wide enough. The last thing I want it to fall over or trip walking down the isle!!

Also, are grass stains ever a problem? Because most dresses I've seen drape along the ground. (I don't have a train, but it will still probably touch the ground once hemmed).

All the pundits and commentators keep banging on about the special magic of the FA cup, but who really believes that anymore? Yeh, it used to be special in the 70s and 80s with classic games, and the FA cup final the only live televised game of the year. Now there's live footie on tv practically everynight, and the top clubs focus is clearly on the Premiership title and the champions league, or the UEFA cup if they don't make the champions league. Although they give the FA cup rhetorical support when interviewed on tv, it seems to me the players and managers just see it as a bit of an irritating distraction. And now the fans as well. Anyone see all the empty seats at many of the FA cup ties this season? Even Arsenal's bore draw with Blackburn this afternoon had thousands of empty seats despite the club saying the game was 'sold out'. So they sold all the tickets but the fans couldn't even be bothered to turn up? Despite having paid for a ticket? Is that the 'magic of the cup'??
