No she is dead.
There are too many foreshadowings for this to be one long dream sequence, though I am still thinking about the tub of butter.
The big clue that it is not a dream is that Christina never told Meredith about the proposal before the tub scene.
Now they must bring Meredith back to life and kill her mother so that she can grow as a character..

As of the end of the last episode, yes. She is dead and hanging out with bomb squad guy and Denny. But who are they kidding? They can't kill her off! The name of the show is GREY'S Anatomy. She'll probably just be in a coma for a few weeks.

I think she's dead at the moment, but it's one of those brush with death scenarios. They'll revive her. It's not a dream (although that would be crazy!!! Never occured to me before...) All I know is that they probably won't kill her off. I mean, she's the main character!

I don't think she is going to die. They advertise the devestating ending but I think they are going to have another tragedy instead. Like the pregnant lady dieing. There is no way shes not coming back...I don't know for sure of course but I can't see it happening. I think its real and shes not dreaming but you know how people say they saw the light and people in their past who are dead and then they came back? Can't wait until Thursday night!!

How do you have a show called "Grey's Anatomy" if there is no Grey? They won't kill her off. It's just a near death experience.

not dead. end of story. they cant kill her off, shes the main character. afterall it is GREYS Anatomy. unless the shows going to end soon, then thats a different story.
