I just wondered which, if any, nation in the world is the one that is a shining example to the rest of it, politically, ethically, socially and what not of how a nation should be.

Im talking about everything from the welfare state to foreign policy, to political freedoms and crime rates. All of the factors that one could possibly consider, with the exclusion of the weather.

I am British myself, but am the first to admit our nation has problems, if I had to guess, I would suggest possibly a Scandanavian country, maybe somewhere like Denmark or Sweden for top scores on all of the above. They're a bit too much of a welfare state perhaps, but a well established one that looks after all its citizens.

What do you think, and why? (and what the hell, tell us what coutnry you are from too)

My bf and I have been together for 2 yrs & lived together 1.5 yrs. I moved across the country w/him for his job which is now sending us back to where we are from(unexpectedly). We have been talking about marriage for a long time now, he just has seemed to be in no rush for it. I told him recently that I really want a commitment- he said that he didn't think there was any reason to rush it. I decided that I was going to move home a little early so that we(HE) could have a little time and space to figure out what we wanted before we move back to our hometown and move in w/each other again. That basically got his butt in action and he decided that he did NOT want me to move back before him and that we could get engaged/married. So, his mother and i went ring shopping the other day and I found a ring that I love& him&I went and looked at it last night. The thing is, now I am feeling like I gave him an ultimatum and forced him into this.

I think living in Italy would be a wonderful place to live. I've never been to Italy, but I plan on going someday, and maybe even living in Italy. I was wondering would an American be able to survive living in Italy, or even Vacationing there? I know that the Euro is worth more than our U.S. Dollar, so would one be able to survive with $5,000 U.S. dollars. For food,shelter,shopping, and going to events while vacationing or living in Italy. Specifically Florence, and Milan. I would not like to live in Rome such as it's such a crowded city, with MANY tourists, and I know Florence and Milan has it's share of Tourists as well. But I think living in either Florence or Milan would be a great place to live, because it's alittle more toned down compared to Rome. So any advice that would be great!

I have been working on this Documentary, at has been viewed and liked by a commissioner from the BBC. it only needs final touch ups in the online editing. and to be distributed. this film was estimated as worth about 300,000 Pounds Sterling in the market- but I ran out of funds and am unable to complete it or sign a distribution contract.

what should I do? where can I find an investor to invest immidiately and gain when the film sells?

the film needs to be sent to festivals THIS WEEK. but we lack the funds to send it. PLEASE!

can you fund?
do you know who can?
can you help?
are you yourself able to, and have experience in selling full length Documentary films?

I eat pickles and green olives all the time. When i run out of them, my mouth waters just thinking of the sour tastes, i'll be cranky until im able to buy more.
