Depending on the extent of your fear there are many ways it can be handled. Ist see a therapist and explain what has happened and what is going on now. They will talk to you and then probably suggest different things to help medication might be one surgery is not likely. Deeply routed are the reason for these fears and when they come to the surface you can face them and deal with them. It is not with out pain, but living in fear isn't either

Most time of fears and Phobias are usually overcomes through therapies. I guess you can contact your doctor and ask him for advice. Some more simpler fears which does not get you out of your state can be overcomed by frequent exposure to the source of the fear. With time it will go. You should also try to get some suppport around you such as friends and family.

I can only speak for fear!! Yes, there are medications out now that help combat fear. Some produce hallucinations and thoughts of suicide though!! But if you patiently wait until you find the right one, it can serve as your personal leveler of choice!! Good Luck!! @8-)
