My bf and I have been together for 2 yrs & lived together 1.5 yrs. I moved across the country w/him for his job which is now sending us back to where we are from(unexpectedly). We have been talking about marriage for a long time now, he just has seemed to be in no rush for it. I told him recently that I really want a commitment- he said that he didn't think there was any reason to rush it. I decided that I was going to move home a little early so that we(HE) could have a little time and space to figure out what we wanted before we move back to our hometown and move in w/each other again. That basically got his butt in action and he decided that he did NOT want me to move back before him and that we could get engaged/married. So, his mother and i went ring shopping the other day and I found a ring that I love& him&I went and looked at it last night. The thing is, now I am feeling like I gave him an ultimatum and forced him into this. What would you do?

When you install Windows Vista by default, it will rename your old Windows XP folder (was C:\Windows, becomes C:\Windows.old), and does not allow you to boot up into Windows XP. How can I make this work like it would have worked with older versions of Windows?

what is the best way to deal with a 12 yearold girl, talks back like you wouldn't believe, cheeky, doesn't listen at all, does her own thing, have had it out with her and she says she likes me and I dont bother her, she is driving a wedge between her mother and me to the point of I am about to walk out, can you help anyone, we have tried talking, then grounding (that is just another word in her extensive vocabulary.

Maybe my question is a little naive, but to me it seems impossible rigth now: I have to rehearse a piece several times at a lower speed, before I play it at normal speed with the sheet to remember. My friend has a ticket from 10/2003, and since she got the ticket she has only received one letter about it back in 2004, well the ticket is over $1000, for speeding and not going to court and a few other things , she is just wanting to know if she should pay it ??? the ticket was given in a different county than what she lives in and she was also wondering can they expedite you for a traffic ticket?

Cricketing world has been producing unexpected/unpredictable results lately...Pakistan is getting hammered by SA, Aussies are trashed by England, Sri Lankans are at their top form and very strong even without their star bowlers, Indians too are performing well.. Who do you think will win the World Cup? I say, Sri Lanka.. They've been playing amazingly well and the way they trashed India gives a pretty clear message.. We have a Macintosh which we have files on from the past few years of work. These files are mainly text documents and databases. I am wondering what the most efficient way to transfer files from that Mac to a Windows PC would be. I would prefer a way that would be quick, like taking the hard drive out of the Mac (if possible) and directly transferring some how, or transferring the files over a LAN. Any methods/suggestions are welcome, though.
