Yes, I prefer reality, warts and all, to even the most comforting fantasy. I am not afraid to stand on my own two feet and face life as it is.

Reality is relative. A product of your brain's interpretation of the world around you based on what your six senses receive.
You show a clown to an average kid and the kid will love him. But I, a full-grown man, am terrified of clowns. Show a clown to me and I'll take off running.
Same situation. The reality of the situation is far different because of our relative perspectives.
Or consider this, the simplest explanation of Einstein's theory of relativity I've ever heard:
You put your hands on a hot burner, and a second can seem like an hour. You put your hands on your lover, and an hour can seem like a second.

Reality is what governs my everyday activities, future planning and of course my personnal history of life. Emotion, Love, Religion and Customs all run contrary to Reality and in doing so cause confusion within yourself. So to answer your question, YES I did.

Yes, I think so. Reality is so much easier to deal with when you have faith in God.
I feel sorry for all the people with the "life sucks" attitude. NO it doesn't. Our life is not a dress rehearsal, you only get one shot.
