I've heard that the answer to "Militant Islam" is "Moderate Islam," but aren’t the only sources of authority in Islam the Koran and the Hadith? Historically, major changes to Christian philosophy and doctrine were achieved by Aquinas, Luther, Calvin, and Wesley. Where are the major texts and writers of this “Moderate” Islam? What were the changes and how do they condemn Muhammad’s martial legacy? Can Islam even be reformed, since Muhammad was the “last profit?” I'm not suggesting that Islam be destroyed, merely that all references to killing non-believers be removed, all exhortations to stone people be removed, all verses calling non-Muslims najjis be removed, all references to killing those who leave Islam be removed, all versus condoning the taxation and subjugation of Kafirs be removed, and all verses condoning woman beating/inferior female intellect be removed. After all, why should only the peaceful versus be taken at face value? Sound reasonable? (p.s. I'm an athiest)

I like my accent. It's one that when everybody hears, they automatically know I'm from the South. Did you know that we actually have the closest accent to the one that was the original before our accents were influenced by all the explorers? The Northerners are the ones with the "funny" accents. They've been influenced the most, so they're accent is a greater variation. What do you think of this?

What is it? Is it some little fuzzy thing floating around in their stomachs or what?

When I'm in class and my professor makes an awkward sound or coughs or drops the chalk, I always hear a bunch of girls in class giggle.

I doesn't bother me.... I think it's cute that they giggle, but I'm just wondering what causes them to do it?

Okay.. so my boyfriend & I are christians and are waiting to have sex when we're married. But lately he's been doing things that have scared me. Such as we'll be cuddling and next thing I know he's almost on top of me and we'll be jumping on the trampoline and i'll loose my footing and next thing I know hes beside me with his legs over mine. A Scottish man was at a baseball game.

It was the first time he had ever seen the sport so he sat quietly. The first batter approached the plate, took a few swings and then hit a double. Everyone was on their feet screaming "Run, Run."

Everyone around him started laughing. So the Scottish, extremely embarrassed, sat back down. A friendly fan, seeing the Scottish man's embarrassment, leaned over and said, "He can't run -- he got four balls."

when putting an equine to sleep what method is used by vet?. Is there a serum that is injected like that for dogs or do they simply get a gun and shoot. This is something my family was discussing and the thought of a vet comming and shooting my horses to put it to sleep is just horrifighing. Please help.
