I hate working out and I hate the gym. But I am fat, I gained 100lbs in 6 years and I don't want to keep tipping the scale. I weigh 220, I am 5'7 and 23f. I am growing to hate myself, and am not sure how my husband is still with me.

We have a gym in our apt complex, but the prob is I keep making excuses not to go (I'll go tomorrow, I have an itch, blinking is an exercise...etc.) I really need to go so I have some confidence in myself.

I have a wonderful husband and I feel if he can love me so much like this, the least I can do is try to be hotter for him.

Please what is your motivation? I can't afford a gym membership or a trainer to push me (and my husband SUCKS at it lol)

Me & a co worker got a huge raise back in the summer. But because of this my boss told us that we wouldn't be able to get one come January. I don't think it was written in our file because my co worker told me that she got a form last Thursday stating that she was getting a 3% raise (we had our evals a couple of wks ago) & that what we usually get every January. I asked her if she was going to say anything to them & she said no. We have a new boss now & I guess she wasn't aware that we weren't suppose to get one, however I haven't received a form stating that I am getting one. We stay close to each other & I should've already gotten a letter by now. I get paid Monday but I don't want to wait till then. Me & this co worker are the only 2 people that do this job so we are essentially suppose to be making the same. I would like to know if I got a raise also. What should I do? I don't want to ask my boss...should I ask some one in payroll...maybe they'll know. How do I ask this??

When I deliver my son in the hospital. Do my mother and father has a right to say about what goes on in the hospital? Like I need survey or something? and my dad thinks that he can choose who gets visit me in the hospital. I think he planning on banning my babys father to see in the hospital and stuff. Im pretty sure he cant have no right what goes on in hospital, i have the rights who can see me...I think... Plus he doesnt have custody of me one bit. My mother does. So. I get to decide about who I want to see me, correct? Just wondering.

I've just been scheduled for this procedure (where they use a scope to examine your esophagus and stomach) and I'm familiar with the basics.

I'm just looking for other peoples' experiences. If you could answer some of the following, I'd appreciate it:
How did you handle it?
Was it terribly uncomfortable?
How long did it take you to recover from the anesthetic?
Was it unpleasant to eat or drink afterward?
How soon after could you eat or drink?
(I ask this question because I have hypoglycemia and I don't want to be sick from that on top of being uncomfortable from the procedure)

Any candid advice and insights would be welcomed. Thanks for your time.

How do i solve this problem. I've been trying to figure it out for the longest time i don't understand it! Please explain to me how to do this!

Why after 15 years divorced my EX will not talk or look at me .We were married for 25 years and both have remarried,My grown children will not invite both of us at the same time at xamas or birthday,he tld the children if I am there he wont be.His wife is very vendtive and wants him to only be with her children and refuses to have anthing with his,and this is rhe kicker he is retired now and 2 years ago our son-in law became a quadrapaligic and he will not help his daughter or grand children out our daughter was only 32 when this happen.

So, Ive been thinking about this problem I see with the concept of Free Will and an Omniscient God...

I understand that God is responsible for the creation of EVERYTHING in the universe. I understand that, according to Pslam 139, "all my days are written in Your Book" - meaning that God already knows what choices I will make, but that I have the Free Will to make those choices.

The problem I have then is that, if God is truly omniscient, then why did he bother to create me as a Hellbound Atheist? Surely, I have the Free Will to choose to beleive and to go to Heaven as a saved one of his flock - but then doesnt this cancel out his omniscience, as he has me pegged as a Hellbound Atheist?? Or, if He really already knew I was going to change my mind in the end and convert - doesnt that rule out Free Will??

I cannot grasp the concept of Free Will and an Omniscient God.

I work for a construction company in the office. I feel I have been a great employee ( I have had raises in the past, etc). I just found out (since I do payroll) that I am the only one in the company that is not going to get a raise this month! I report to four men, and during my last review all but one of them scored me above average except the one man. I think he has a personal hate for me - what should I do?

you go out and leave your baby with a babysitter even though where you are going you could take your child with you. I for example went to the grocery store yesterday and left my daughter with my sister and I felt kinda guilty for leaving her when I could have taken her. I have a female spayed pit bull that is just about a year old. There is no doubt in my mind that she goes by my energy around strangers 75% of the time. If I am comfortable and steady- she will act the same. However, there are days where a kid- say about 11 yrs old walks by and she lunges and barks with her hair raised. Just certain people she decides to not like at all. It is embarrassing to take her out in public b/c I don't know who she will decide to like and who she won't. It doesn't matter race or size. She is the same way with dogs. Some she likes, and some she doesn't-big or small..male or female. I have spanked her and made her submit to the other dog or person by putting her on her back and petting her and talking to her while they get on her level and talk to her. This doesn't seem to change her attitude much. I also make sure to remain calm and tell her how wonderful she is when she shows no sign of aggression. I want to be able to socialize her and be in public.
