Your parents have the say as long as you are under 18 and you are still financially dependent on them.

The only one who has that right is you. As a father I had some preferences regarding that but there is no way in hell I would have gone against my wife's wishes. The birthing process is needs to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible for the mother. The people around you, mom, dad, father of the child are supposed to help with that, not piss you off. If they do not respect your wishes then tell them to F*ck off this is all about you and the baby, not them.

You may want to ask the hospital that you plan to deliver in what their specific policies are as far as visitation. How old are you? if your father doesnt have any legal rights as far as you go, then he will not have any say as far as who can and cannot come visit you or the baby.
I would suggest explaining the situation to the hospital so they are aware of what may come up and let them know what you would like to happen. It is up to you whether you even want your father to be allowed in the room

Yikes honey, how old are you? What country do you live in?
You should make it clear to the hospital staff and to your doctor WHO you want in the delivery room with you and who may be allowed to visit you. You need to think hard on this as you will not want any added stress at that time.
It probably does depend on how old you are as to who will have the say about what medications, treatments and care that you receive. You will need to make decisions for your new baby as well. Do you want him circumcised, etc.
This is something that you don't want to leave to chance or leave until the last minute. Contact your doctor and the hospital's social worker to see what the policies are.
Good luck and God bless!

In large part that depends on #1) How old are you. #2) Who's paying the Bill. If it is a private hospital or public all have factor in the rules that govern. Most hospitals allow for anyone to visit patients during visiting hours.

You sound really young. If you are a minor, then your parents are still running the show - they should take into consideration you thoughts and feelings because you are right in that it's YOU that's having the baby. And it doesn't matter who has custody of you - both biological parents have a say in what's going on in your life.

Since you are the mother of the baby and you are the patient, you get to chose who can see you and the baby. The birthing process is a decision you get to make. If you want an epidural you decide. A court order may keep you baby's father out though. Hopefully, your mom will be supportive.

Maybe if you are underage. Your mother, if she has custody of you, can say who visits and who can't. If your father doesn't have custody, then he shouldn't be able to say who can visit. If your baby's father is going to be on the birth certificate, then I would think he should be allowed in. I am not sure, call the hospital, see what their policy is on visitation.

Your having the baby so its all up to you! But if your dad is there and he obviously doesn't like your baby's father then I suggest you don't have them there at the same time because if fighting occurs the hospital staff will kick them out and they cant come back!

Are you a minor? Well, even if you are, if your father has no custody then he has no right to say who gets to visit you in the hospital. Good luck!
