It's funny. The deficit is the biggest threat to America and everybody just avoids the question. It would take reams to answer the question you posted.
The bottomline is the government can't keep spending more than it is taking in. The new budget Bush has proposed has taken a big bite out of domestic program so the defense budget can be increased. Instead of increasing taxes, he is cutting services like health care for the elderly and law enforcement. Clearly the middle class is going to sacrifice for national defense but the wealthier Americans will not. Their tax cut has been saved by Bush.
One of two things must happen very soon: increase taxes or shrink government. Judging by Bush's budget proposal, he wants to shrink government. But with his increasing military budget, the situation will only get worse.
To wage this war, protect our borders, and maintain our domestic programs a tax increase is surely needed.

Here's the thing...Firstly, you bored people with the accounts of what you said, all, I suppose to show off your presumed intelligence. (I guess grammar isn't indicative of intelligence.) Secondly, your confrontational question isn't inspiring anyone to participate in your self congratulatory diatribe.

So ask a straight question, cut out the patting yourself on the back and don't be so patronizing...you might get some answers.

Perhaps no one answered you because no one believes a word you say. You cannot even write well; you use improper punctuation, grammar and cannot spell. Why do you think that we would believe you could hold a conversation with a legislator much less express a clear and concise opinion.

Raising taxes has never balanced the budget before why would you think it would now?

You have to get congress to reduced its spending. There are plenty of pork barrel projects that could be cut.

I don't know, but I answered it for you. In my experience around here, people like the soft-balls. The flamboyant one liner basher questions.

It's primarily entertainment for most of us.

And speaking as someone who has partied with reps, I don't believe you, anyway.
