I live in Michigan and have heard in the past there there is something called "Renter's Rebate" that allows me to deduct my rent payments from my taxes. I'm not sure if this is a federal tax or state tax filing, or even if it exists. Anybody know?

Good news: I get high marks for my instruction, working with kids, parents, etc. I love teaching and I can say I'm good at it.

Bad news: When you come into my classroom, it's probably shocking how messy my desk is, and how much stuff is around. I am a visual person, so I tend to leave stuff out. However, that's no excuse -- the piles of papers and stuff take over by Friday and it's embarassing and probably unprofessional.

Neat people, this question is not for you because I don't know how you think and cannot relate to your process. However, sloppy/visual people: how have you conquered this problem and kept it conquered? Please help!

I am Board member of a wonderful organization that does humanitarian work in Kenya- American Friends of Kenya.
We focus on listening to what Kenyans need to help themselves. Usually a lot of NFP want to tackle AIDS or Malaria or one disease when really the overall Public Health system needs to improve.
We send medical supplies and training materials for doctors and nurses. We do one trip a year where volunteer nurses and doctors train and work "hands on" at clinics and hospitals in rural Kenya.
We also ship thousands of books, fund uniforms and shoes for children to be able to get an education.
Some of our goals now are: creating programs for orphanages to empower these kids and give them love, confidence and courage, creating a library that would serve over 900,000 people, expanding our organization across the US, and more.
Our next volunteer trip is July 2008.

ordered that I bought on Friday, please let me know today if you have recieved the movies I sent to you on Friday and when I will be recieving my movies I have put to rent form you for it don't usually take this long to hear from you and get my movies so I just want to know ok. He is very repetitive, always asking for food but then not eating it. He doesn't want to ride his bike or play video games, but he will walk around and around the coffee table shaking a toy that makes noise or wallow on the floor or the sofa. What are somethings that will keep these kind of children entertained. Yes, I am a girl (people keep asking because of the name). I have shoulder length hair and side swept bangs. I don't have a large forehead but I have a heart shaped face (slightly pointed chin and nice checkbones). So, I was thinking faux bangs would emphasize the checkbones. I'm a black girl and I just wonder if it will good? My hair dresser thinks it's a good idea, but she just likes to cut. Is it hard to keep up bangs? Like the ends and stuff.

he was never a real potential boyfriend - there are things i don't like about the way he acts often, how he swears, and a lot of his opinions and attitudes about things.
nonetheless, i was attracted to him and so we got together. i know he really likes me, and the more time we spend togtether (4 months now) the more i like about him. and i'm getting attatched, but the things i don't like about him won't go away...
also, i'm worried if i break up with him i'll be lonely, or that i'll change my mind and want him back.
but maybe i should free myself to meet someone who is more right for me...
to stay or go?
