Just recently I have not been able to view some webites with IE(most notably Mspace) but when I try them in Firefox they work just fine. Anyway to fix this?

IE is broken, don't use it. MS doesn't follow the standards that the industry uses, they "create" their own to make programming for it easier. This is NOT how standards were meant to be used.

A client of mine had the same problem, and the solution was pretty simple, albeit somewhat tedious. If you are using Windows XP, simply installing Service Pack 2 will reinstall Internet Explorer. Even if you already have Service Pack 2 installed, you can install it again and it will install a fresh copy of all the Internet Explorer files, resulting in a clean browser that should have no trouble opening sites. You can use the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=049C9DBE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en

Note that the link takes you to a download page intended for IT professionals, but it is the best way to download it, especially if you already have Service Pack 2 installed. Also, Firefox will download it just fine, while Windows Update requires Internet Explorer. Once downloaded, close out all open programs, and double click on the file to start the installation. It can take up to an hour to install (depending on the speed of your computer) and you will need to reboot when it is complete.

Some sites are created for specific browsers. Normally firefox, so some sites can be out of ratio etc. Although i am not sure about Myspace. Maybe a plugin is needed?

Just keep using Firefox, it's a great, much faster and stable browser than IE and it runs most websites just fine.

you should avoid using i.e. anyway. it is not only dangerous due to it's security flaws but it also encourages web sites to make i.e. only compatible sites.
