im in 7th grade. and im 13 years old.
I think just because im a little shy and dont talk much. people in my school and my science teacher think im spical ed when im far from it. please help!! how can i show them that im not.
and i think anthor reason i they think im Spical ed is because when the teacher calls on me alot of the time i frezee up and that makes me look stupid.
should i get more talkative and energetic? any ideas?

I dated my fiance for 10 years. He broke my heart and dumped me in Oct(5 months ago). He no longer wanted to be with me. I cried for months and am just getting over it. He just called me this week and told me he had a stroke in Nov. A month after we broke up. He told all this family and friends not to call me and tell me the news. He says he did not want to upset me and did not think it was appropritate to tell me since.he broke up with me. When he called me this week he said he would like to get together for breakfast and talk. He can't work or drive at this time. He is going through therepy. Do you think I should meet him for breakfast and see what he has to say? He would like to see me in a week or so. Please advise.

my gf who dumped me does not even seem like the same loving/accepting girl I used to know. She left me because I could not keep a good balance between long work hours, taking care of my blind mother in another city, and spending enough time with her. I have apologized sincerely, made changes so it won't happen again, but she is so anchored to what happened before and won't give me another chance. I mean these were not easy changes. I also lost 50lbs. none of it seems to matter...argggggggggh. Hey, life is tough...at what point do you forgive and forget?

We allowed our daughter to start sleeping with us about a month ago when she was sick, and now she won't even go in her room. She screams and throws a tantrum if you leave her alone or in her bed. We even tried leaving her in there for a half hour, and sleeping on the floor with her. Neither worked.

we can find examples of words that refer to something with which there is no apparent logical relationship.
For example - the word "bird" is used to describe the male sexual organ and it doesn´t seem to be a clear logical relationship between both words, however the word "bird" is used in many languages to refer to the other thing (if i say the word yahoo deletes the question).
How can one explain this coincidence? If it was a cultural explanation it could only happen in one language and in languages spoken in the same area.
