I was born severely deaf. However, i still can hear and i'm very smart. I'm predicted A-Bs in my GCSEs. But whenever i meet someone, they start speaking slow and signing even though they don't make sense. Why do people do this? I'm not stupid at all but it irritates me. It's not fair at all.

Ive decided to throw my sister a Surprise Seventeenth Birthday party since she did not have a Sweet Sixteen last year. The theme of the party will be Mardis Gras. I bought an MP3 player for my grandson on 11/25. Fedex said it was deliverd on 12/5 but it was not delivered to my daughters address. They said they would ship another one. On 12/15 I called back because my daughter had not received the player and they said the warehouse was shut down for 3 days so the item couldn't be shipped in time for Xmas and my money would be refunded. I called Circuit City every week since then. I was told on 12/28 that my card would be credited with 7 or 8 business days. My math is bad but I think we're way beyond that now! On 1/26 I was told my case was assigned to someone and I would receive a call within 24 hours. They missed that deadline. I was told I could not speak to the person they assigned to my case. Today they relunctantly transferred me to that person (who probably sits next to the person I was talking to) but I was so very, very shocked when my call went to voice mail. NOT!!!!!! Any advice?

me n my bf of 4yrs hav never had problems. Ova the yrs tho Ive noticed things she does to me that I dnt like it always seemed to me that she put her boyfriends be4 me. Like, she'll call and we'll make plans and she'll tell me shes goin to pick me up in 15m. I'll wait and she never comes and I try to be patient. After an hr I'll call to c if she still comin, n find out shes with her boyfriend instead and she didnt even call to say so. She used to do it alot until 1day she left me waiting for hrs and never answered her phone and when I saw her I found out she was with a guy again and stood me up. So I told her about herself.instead of apologizing she just kept saying it must b her personality since she seems to do it all the time, and that I should have stop waiting on her. She told me thats what she would have done. So I let it go. Now i call and make plans n tell her ill call when im ready. but ill get tied up and she gets mad wen she calls and i say i cnt. is this fair

This guy and I had a couple of facebook conversations that went well I thought. I was telling him I enjoyed a performance he gave at a concert relating to the church we both go to. We talked a bit back and forth about the event, the church, etc. The last message I got from him said he was glad I was enjoying the church, asked me to come up to him the next time I see him so we could talk face to face, and said he hoped to see me soon. He had said he hoped we'd meet a couple times. I wrote back and said I would definitely do that, and that I was looking forward to it. I didn't hear back from him, so a couple days later I sent another message just saying hi and hoped he was having a good week so far. I haven't heard back yet from that either. That was yesterday. Am I just way overanalyzing this? I'm not going to send any more messages until then. Is he just waiting to continue the conversation for when we actually meet?

A few months after his parents were divorced, Little Johnny passed by his mom’s bedroom and saw her rubbing her body and moaning, "I need a man, I need a man!"

Over the next couple of months, he saw her doing this several times. One day, he came home from school and heard her moaning. When he peeked into her bedroom, he saw a man on top of her.

Little Johnny ran into his room, took off his clothes, threw himself on his bed, started stroking himself, and moaning,

"Ohh, I need a bike! I need a bike!"

Little Johnny told his teacher he’d found a cat. She asked him if it was dead or alive.

"Dead." She was informed.

"How do you know?" she asked her pupil.

"Because I pxssed in its ear and it didn’t move," answered the child innocently.

"You did WHAT?!?" the teacher exclaimed in surprise.

"You know," explained Little Johnny, "I leaned over and went ’Pssst!’ and it didn’t move."

I am receiving dozens of these per week, mostly it seems trying to persuade me to place an order for a product with that company at a grossly inflated price, jmplying only if we place an order will the winning cheque immediately be sent. But it never is and it is clear it never will be. The alleged winning amount is usually £10,000 or something of that order. We usually dump them, unless there just happens to be an item we are interested in buying. Most seem to be based within EU, like Biotonic and Star shopping in Belgium, "Best Of" in Ireland etc. but others are from Switzerland like Swiss Home Shopping. Ignoring them does not stop them sending more such junk. Does anybody know how these sorts of scams can best be dealt with by Law. within the U.K.. Trading Standards were not very helpful when we contacted them preferring to look the other way it seems..

Hia, I've been trying to sell a computer on ebay for my brother, and so far have it has been sold twice, but on both occassions it was bought with buy it now by a fraudulant buyer, the first time I informed paypal, but now its happend again.

Could someone please advise me on how to report these users to eBay and how I can get my fees back, which are becoming costly due to having to re-list.

If it makes a difference I've been using eBay.co.uk
