Yeah, I find that it often makes it easier. A question phrased like that is often about opinions or experiences, which makes it a lot easier.
I love when I can express my opinion on a subject - no one can say my opinion is wrong. They can disagree, but they can not say it's wrong. And the same goes for experiences - I'm the only one who knows what happened, so it's quite impossible for people to disagree. Unless, of course, I claim to have been to Jupiter, or something like that.

So yeah, I love that kind of questions - they invite to interesting discussions and dialogs.

What puzzles me is why some people answer questions as though they think they actually were directed at them - witness such responses as 'I'm sorry, I don't know', and 'I have no clue'. If you don't know, you are not obliged to answer! It may gain you two points but it will affect your Best Answers percentage as you are never going to be voted Best Answer!

Sure.....that way I don't have to 'guess' at an answer. I really don't liking guessing at answers. I take questions here seriously(unless it is obvious they are amusing). That way I can give an honest answer.

yes because you get the chance to really air your own opinion, which is exactly what people should expect when they ask direct questions.

yes! I like questions that get me thinking of my opinion alone and not thinking for a whole group of people. (i.e. Black, White, Christian, southern, Georgian...etc)
