I was considering moving to Vegas, one of my favorite places to travel. I love the people there and the atmosphere, but I was a tourist then. I want to live in an affordable apartment near the strip or downtown area but I read too many bad reviews about the area, just wondering if someone who is living there currently or used to live near the strip can give me some advice...thanks

I live in a California desert community that features 3 small water features--rare for the desert. We are overrun with geese, coots and ducks all winter long and nothing seems to repel them. The grounds are covered with bird excrement to the point I believe it is a health hazard. I have been exploring a product called a Bird-X sonic repellent that scares geese away with the recorded sounds of geese honking in distress. The birds hear the noise and then fly off. I've seen one of these working in an office park in Virginia, but never in California. Does anyone out there have one of these in operation? Are you satisfied with it? Does it keep geese, ducks and coots away? Is the range sufficient? The units are expensive ($825 a piece) and noisy so I want to make sure it works before I make the commitment.

okay im going on a trip tonight, my brother is driving. We are going skeeing. I have some work i would like to get done, its optional tho. I was wondering if having my laptop sit in a car for 2 hours will harm it. The weather tonight will stand around 15 degrees.

I do care for my laptop as it has cost me alot of money. 2 grand to be specific because i like my games :-)

I practice yoga and would like a lotus flower on my foot closer to the ankle. I understand the pain levels cuz I have 2 other tats but am concerned about it wearing off and having to be redone. I'm usually barefoot or in flipflops and occasionally tennis shoes. If there's nothing rubbing the skin I figure it will last longer.

A blonde was driving home one night when she suddenly found herself in the middle of a bad hail storm. The hailstones were the size of golf balls. Her car was dented beyond description.

The next day, she took it to a repair shop. Noticing that she was blonde, the technician decided to have some fun. He told her to take the car home and blow real hard into the tailpipe and the dents would pop out.

When she got home, she started blowing into the tailpipe as she was instructed. At that moment, her blonde girlfriend drove by and saw her puffing on the tailpipe.

Thinking the worst, the friend was startled and said, "What are you doing?"

She said that the man at the body shop told her to blow into the tail pipe real hard and the dents would pop out.

Her girlfriend said, "Well, duhhhhhh! You need to roll up the windows first!"
